Fight Back Against Big Media!
Letter to my representatives, urging them to overturn FCC's December 18th vote to relax media ownership rules:
Please act swiftly to overturn the FCC's Dec. 18 vote to relax media ownership rules.
Do the right thing - co-sponsor the Resolution of Disapproval (SJ Res. 28) introduced by Sen. Byron Dorgan, and support investigative journalism, local news and competition in our state.
Media consolidation means fewer perspectives and less of the news that our communities need. This is especially troubling in an election year.
The FCC's decision to let Big Media get even bigger will erode the free flow of information, decrease competition, and flood the airwaves with biased news.
Please support the Resolution of Disapproval and take a stand for fair, accessible, and representative media today.
It's time you did something for 'we, the people,' not 'they, the corporations.'
Feel free copy, paste, use and disseminate.
Don't let them screw us lying down.
Show them your metal.

Tune out across the board. I have been there for 24 months and recommend it HIGHLY!
But it is far more productive to just turn OFF that television set garbage that news paper,Mag and other propagandas. And just plain think about the pickle your currently in.
Don't think your life is in a Pickle? Think One more time.
Greed and Waste. They are coming for you.
Screw up in sorting out Greed And Waste as a collective unit All of North America and a nice popcicle of 'Fuck You' in the form of an accidental/preventable/Intentonal what ever even at any of the nuclear sites running or that have been running at one time.
These systems are POWER hungry. YOUR power will eventually be required in ever increasing and vast quantities of natural resources JUST to keep the decommissioned and cooling off bits from going "China Syndrome" and catching fire in a VERY nasty orgy of widespread death.
I DARE you not to start looking into the RAD side of the American way of life. We have been lucky there has not been an out of control reactor pile fire YET.
Chernobyl's day was frickin CLOSE.
Yet Many Aging and cash challenged reator systems are expected to do 98% duty cycles and forgo many safety measures as too costly to pursue on a cost of KwH made good at the grid. Sooner rather than later one of these plants is going to blow sky fricking high THEN the WORLD is going to become More involved in fixing Rotten GOP messes to Americas detriment.
Warnings abound on the internet. Warnings abound in the science community about CLEAR inactions of ANY nuclear plant having serious implications environmentally regardless of there location or where there fueled from.
The Nuclear thing is going to haunt America if it gets out of control.
"Suck it up Buttercup" Will be the call if the costs get too lofty to maintain. You wanted it you have it.
A bullshit banking system,A hack government,An SUV in every driveway,A WAR,And the military industrial complex will be but a wart on the ass of the beast of nuclear winter.
Suck it up indeed.
