It is for those people that the Arab Resistance continues to grow. It is for them that the Arab people will eventually drive the US out of the Middle East to make other alliances with China, Russia, Iran etc... Given a choice between the Arab & Muslim world... and Israel, the US chose Israel. Accordingly the Arab and Muslim people also made a choice, and it wasn't the US.
The US lost Iran. Then it lost Iraq (to Iran). It is in the process of losing Lebanon inspite of the efforts of the puppet government. Syria... well, it doesn't look too good either. The US had to remove its basis from Saudi Arabia a few years ago... and there is still more to come.
The US certainly doesn't stand where it used to stand in the Middle East. Just the fact that American embassies have become like fortresses or mini military basis instead of the normal embassies they used to be a couple of years ago, is very reflective of how "tolerable" (or intolerable) the American presence has become.
And all this... because of Israel... which anyway was doomed to crumble.

Rather it is advising believers that they must not put their full trust in anyone nor depend upon anyone to have their best interests at heart. Due to corruption, prompted by greed, Muslims cannot rely upon Jews nor Christians to have their best interests at heart. Current events further support this. This so-called war on terror is nothing more than a war against Muslims who have been subject to oppression for no reason other than others felt they could.
