Hill Air Force base in Northern Utah is on intensive night exercise run. Aerial war on Iran imminent?
So much for the "Sound of Freedom" as the sheeple bleats in the message boards and on the news to justify the "horrific", aggressive jet noise buzzing the neighboring cities late at night and in early morning.
I don't believe the local corporate news propaganda cheerfully claiming the weather is to blame for the schedule change in exercise and landing runs. Neither should you.
This is very serious and not typical of a regional Air Force exercise conducted very late at night involving several F-16 jets, etc.
It's common for the air force aerial attacks to occur on New Moon night. Next new moon cycle is April 6.
According to William Lind's 3/26/08 column Operation Cassandra, he states:
[...] The State Department, OSD, the intelligence agencies, the Army, and the Marine Corps are all opposed to war with Iran. Of the armed services, only the Air Force reportedly is in favor, seeking an opportunity to show what air power can do. As always, it neglects to inform the decision-makers what it cannot do.
The purpose of this column is not to warn of an imminent assault on Iran, though personally I think it is coming, and soon. Rather, it is to warn of a possible consequence of such an attack. Let me state it here, again, as plainly as I can: an American attack on Iran could cost us the whole army we now have in Iraq.
Lots of people in Washington are pondering possible consequences of an air and missile assault on Iran, but few if any have thought about this one. The American military's endless "we're the greatest" propaganda has convinced most people that the U.S. armed forces cannot be beaten in the field. They are the last in a long line of armies that could not be beaten, until they were.

Hill AFB fighter jets rattle Davis County Residents
Reported by: Brent Hunsaker
Last Update: 10:02 pm central, March 27, 2008
HILL AFB, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The folks in Layton and the other cities immediately surrounding Hill Air Force Base are used to the late night flights of F-16 fighter jets. They don’t fly every night, but they have this week.
But in Farmington, Centerville, Bountiful and Salt Lake City they’d never heard such a racket. They came roaring overhead just before 12:30 Thursday morning. “It definitely woke me up,” said Aaron Held of Farmington. He ran out onto his deck to see what was going on. Then Held went back inside to check if there was anything about it on the internet – make sure there wasn’t an invasion he said with a laugh. Held and his neighbors had never heard the jets from Hill make so much noise so late at night.
So what was different? Weather. Because of the storm that was moving onto the Wasatch Front, the jets were forced to charge their landing approach from the north to the south. What was unnerving to folks south of the base, was blessed quiet to people to the north.
Lt. Colonel Jeremy Sloan, commander of the 388th Operational Support Squadron, says the mission are absolutely necessarily to kept pilots and crews ready for whatever they might face in war. In fact, most of the night training missions these days are being taken by pilots with the 34th Fighter Squadron. Later this spring, the squadron is scheduled to deploy overseas.

Change in flight landing path disturbs residents
Gene Kennedy reporting
The phones didn't stop ringing at the KSL newsroom last night. Callers had lots of complaints of planes flying over residential neighborhoods.
The noise was coming from F-16 fighter planes. The pilots are from the 388th Squadron out of Hill Air Force Base, and lately they've been doing night flights. The big question so many had: what were they doing flying over the Wasatch Front so late at night?
Kathy Craig put on a movie last night. She thought her surround sound could shut out the world. "For me to hear a noise outside it had to be very loud," she said. But what she heard wasn't a scene from "Michael Clayton". "It was a total disruption of my privacy. It sounded like a World War II movie, ya' know like fighter planes."
Craig described it as "very unsettling, very unsettling. I mean, I was frightened."
The peace inside her Millcreek home was disturbed from 8 o'clock to midnight. "Just on and off, on and off, just continuously," she said.
Officials at Hill Air Force Base say pilots were not training over urban areas, but they had to change their landing path.
Lt. Col Jeremy Sloan, a Commander with the 388th Squadron, said, "Typically we land from the north, and last night weather forced us to land from the south."
Davis and Weber County residents may be used to the sound, but several Salt Lake County residents fumed about the night flights.
KSL.com users had plenty to say about the situation. One commenter wrote, "I finally got to sleep after 11:30 and it was still going. This by no means is normal under ANY circumstance."
But the military says the night flights are crucial to polish up skills for the war on terror.
Lt. Col Sloan said, "Why it's so important is that we train with night vision goggles, and we train with precision-guided munitions and advanced targeting so we can provide support anytime, anywhere."
Craig says, "I mean what's the west desert for? Isn't that what that's for, isn't that where they're supposed to be?"
Other comments on ksl.com read, "suck it up" and "get over it."
The military says with winds shifting over the summer, pilots may have to use a southern approach for more landings.

Excerpted from the message board amid nauseating display of "Sound of Freedom" propaganda noise
However, my concern was not “how could they do this late at night”… my concern was how unusual it was to hear so many flights, so intensively, and so late in the evening. I am sorry, but I have only been here 10 months. And, since I have lived here, I have not heard that MUCH chaos with flights. I appreciate how I have been educated today regarding the possibilities of training extensively at night. Yet, last night was very alarming to me. I did not have those pieces.
What I DID know is that we had all heard the news of the confusion with missiles sent to Taiwan from Hill Air Force Base. Plus, the high concerns of how the pentagon is now having to face this major issue (hopefully, with no repercussions – who is to say that China is not looking for an excuse). I also heard how the Air Force base could be in jeopardy when it is time for them to be considered for renewal.
Thus, with the breaking news yesterday and having unsettled feelings regarding it, AND THEN hearing the high number of powerful aircrafts last night....Gosh, dog it, I became more unsettled and scared. Sorry, I am new to living by an Air Force base. Sue me.
There was even at one point the most HORRIFIC sound from one jet. So… I turned on the news, concerned with what was going on… and they did not have anything to report, which made me feel more at ease. Obviously, the activity was not noteworthy. However, this morning, I finally did not feel alone when it was reported on the news that others were highly concerned.
Once again, I do NOT have a problem with flights at nighttime or during the day. I adore soldiers and the gifts they give our country. I sleep with a soldier every night. I KNOW how they feel and what they fight for….
I am an army wife, husband is away. They can fly all night as far as I am concerned. Yet, with the situations that arose yesterday… Why, yes, I was alarmed. In the world we live in… We can never be so sure. So, those of you who “know it all”…. Thankfully, you were right. This time.
I do thank KSL for giving some of us, some peace of mind.

But the post is likely rejected in censorship by KSL moderator. KSL-TV is owned by the Mormon church and the majority of KSL message board posters is God-fearing reactionary Bush Republican sheeple.
Not only will an attack on Iran cause a huge loss of life in Iran and neighboring nations the war will spill over to American soil. It is time Americans wake up and realize that they have been supporting a destruction of sovereign nations around the world and it is coming home very soon. So pick the city, hospitals, schools, churches, roads, and factories your willing to sacrifice for the Zionists.
What do various radio stations in Northern Utah say about this if you were to email them?
it being breaking news and all ...
The radio hosts will probably laugh at the thought that AF would be ordered by "our dear" President to attack Iran and proceed to mock this view as "wacko conspiracy theory" and cut off the caller who asked the question the intensive night exercise might indicate the impending air war on Iran to destroy infrastructure, military and nuclear reactor targets.
Take it from me the significant percentage of State of Utah's population is Mormon, the reactionaries who voted twice for Bush believing him to be "Man of God" (I'm serious, I've heard this alot, even my own mother).
Utah is in some way theocratic (especially Utah County where Brigham Young University is -- that's where Dick Cheney received an honorary degree in April 2007) believing that even the traitorous slime John McCain will be a good leader to fight the "Holy War" as they perceive it.
America is a pretty fucked up nation with its intense focus on American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and bullshit while laughing at the notion of persistent danger of high treason and unjust war that continue to bleed American economy dry, telling the persons like me who warn "how's the weed?" and "you got to be kidding".
Utter ignorance invite destruction of the Republic because of their willingness to engage in self-denial as the predisposition of political bias and apathy.
Aforementioned KSL message board populated with fake patriotic "USA! USA!" sheep mindset is indicative of this disturbing phenomenon.
I just got banned from comment section on RawStory.com, probably because my opinion in comment posts is always composed of vitriol anti-Neocon and anti-Zionist in reaction to the relevant reports. I sent an email to RawStory editor explaining my view as "speak[ing] truth to power" and politely requested that the ban be lifted.
Ha. I know RawStory is liberal, but getting banned for anti-Zionism masquerading as anti-Semitism? That's dumb. What is RawStory editorial and moderating staff really composed of in collective political bias? Are they "Political Correct" morons? Is truth so inconvenient when it comes to certain sensitive topics such as discussing Zionism as a danger and calling State of Israel a terrorist state? Even calling Dick Cheney, Joe Lieberman and John McCain "Israel-first scumbag traitors" among colorful choice words seem to strike the nerve.
I try not to cross the line at DailyKos, which is why I purposefully omitted or altered negative mention of Zionism/Israel, which would surely rile up the smarmy commentator lemming idiots. DKos previously banned Qrswave for her famous "Imagine a world without Israel", which itself is not really that vitriol but call on respect for human rights to the cacophony of hysterically PC-afflicted DKos recess children crying "Mommy! She doesn't like Israel!"
