Lone Global Warming Fascist forces BBC to change content of online article

Climate change is increasingly being exposed as a swindle - a simple ruse to implement global taxation and restrictions on movement. Not content with concentrating on real environmental threats, the so-called "environmental lobby" are hard at work making sure the truth doesn't stand a chance of getting out.

One enviro-loon, Jo Abbess, recently forced the BBC to alter the contents of an online article  that stated global warming had come to a halt and could possibly have peaked.  She didn't like the implications of publishing such a heresy and wanted it adjusted to properly reflect her peculiar orthodoxy.

This individual has already proven her disconnection with reality when she posted a statement on the message boards of the UK newspaper "The Guardian" claiming that the war-criminal Tony Blair is..

a sensitive, spiritual family man, navigating the tightrope of public presence with a skill that should make you marvel. he hit the water running, remember.

That quote neatly puts the rest of her ranting into perspective - she is clearly wired to the moon.

Anyway, back to the "global warming" bullying - Not content with forcing a national media outlet to comply with her increasingly unrealistic and disjointed worldview, she then proves that she is far from the sharpest tool in the box by posting the entire exchange online.

Note that the correction is demanded, not requested. Note also that this global warming climate change fascist does not support her counter-claims with anything factual. Indeed her claims that the oceans remain a sink of temperature and have shown gradual and continual warming have been proven to be false.

subject Correction Demanded : "Global temperatures 'to decrease'"

Dear Roger,

Please can you correct your piece published today entitled "Global temperatures 'to decrease'" :-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7329799.stm

1. "A minority of scientists question whether this means global warming has peaked"

This is incorrect. Several networks exist that question whether global warming has peaked, but they contain very few actual scientists, and the scientists that they do contain are not climate scientists so have no expertise in this area.

2. "Global temperatures this year will be lower than in 2007" You should not mislead people into thinking that the sum total of the Earth system is going to be cooler in 2008 than 2007. For example, the ocean systems of temperature do not change in yearly timescales, and are massive heat sinks that have shown gradual and continual warming. It is only near-surface air temperatures that will be affected by La Nina, plus a bit of the lower atmosphere.

Thank you for applying your attention to all the facts and figures available,

jo.
