My submitted document leaks on Mormon church business affairs accepted at Wikileaks.org
I don't know about you, but Wikileaks.org caught my attention when Wikileaks went under over the lawsuit produced by a corrupt wealth-management banking institution Julius Baer (which sought to cover up its practice of tax evasion for mostly American wealthy clients who expect maximum privacy without scandalous expose), which led to the suspension of the web site on the order of a corrupt federal judge presiding over the case.
More on this saga can be found in this lengthy blog post.
After being fascinated by some sordid documents on Wikileaks.org -- like U.S. torture policy, U.S. military report on Fallujah and secret bibles of Church of Scientology on mind control and financial & behavioral management, I decided to research and collect the documents relating to the business & religious affairs of the Mormon Church, known officially as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).
Wikileaks.org's confidential submission guideline is stringent on the condition that the documents are not easily found elsewhere, but the editor made an exception because of consideration that once the few documents are read, more secret documents will be divulged over time and that the first few leaked documents found and archived on web sites elsewhere will disappear due to the pressure of the LDS Church headquarter in Salt Lake City protecting its "'For Your Eyes Only' books intended for the authorized laymen" as copyrighted materials, not unlike the Church of Scientology outraged over the recent leaked "Operating Thetan" document. (wikileaks page)
Of interest is the amusing sections on excommunication and elaborate "financial compensation" in tithing and offering in the truncated 1968 document of General Handbook of Instructions intended for approved bishops and stake presidents.
Wikileaks - Mormon General Handbook of Instructions 1968 edition
The leaked 1999 edition is the first of two volumes that is lengthy in the exhaustively detailed procedures of church affairs, which reveal how each ward & stake (place of church in regional district) is managed in the science of organization for worship and financial stewardship to report to the higher authorities in the state and corporate.

My supplying the documents obtained elsewhere on the Web is to future-proof the disappearance of the materials when the obscure web sites receive cease-and-desist letter forcing removal to avoid litigation and provide the antidote to the potential misconceptions of the Mormon church as a harmless organized religion.
I am not an "anti-Mormon" for doing this; I am interested in the truth to provide guidance to those seeking enlightenment and perhaps refuge from the grip of the cult that promote itself on the basis of strong family values & personal fulfillment while committing to secrecy potentially damaging and dangerous to the independent mind, spirit and sovereignty.

Where do you think that all these leaks are coming from? Additionally, why do you think that the American media has blown this latest "news" on the Mormons? Lastly, who benefits from destroying the influence LDS has over its followers? I also think the timing is curious - with the Pope in town.
A number of years ago, i read a book about the Mormon hierarchy in Salt Lake and how some were trying to hold on to and increase their power and how others were trying to get some of that power.
The book read like a "Who Dunnit" murder mystery, with all of the intrigues, murders and theft of the tabernacle's monies.
One person was even killed by a car bomb.
There was a section on how the Mormons managed to insinuate themselves into deceased billionaire Howard Hughe's inner circle, keeping him doped up so they could control his money.
Guess being that close to Las Vegas and the mob that controlled the Strip back then gave them some ideas.
The crazy part about this was that the book was not fiction.
My take is that there is some sort of power struggle going on. I watched an interview with Mitch Romney yesterday and noticed how the current Mormon scandl was not even metionned. To be fair the interview was about MCCain but still Romney's opinion on the Mormon issues would still be relevant. All groups are heirachical in nature. That is to say that have a pecking order in relation to power. Power is influence over what others think and feel. There are three principle ways to aqquire power. They are as follows: 1. Force- Military might will enforces thier ideas at the piont of a gun. 2. Religion - To quote Orwell "God is Power" The reason for this is because the religious group can dictate behaviour based on some appeal to authority will the dupe has internalized. My favorite example is David Ick. I love Ick's religious cover story. He is able to blend in all the major religions and create the REPTILIAN mythology! He has declared himself a messiah and has devoted followers. The best part about it is that religious belief or cover story does not even have to be true. That my friends is power! 2.a Television has the same properties as religion. The goal of both is influence. 3. Resource management- Money, Water, Gold, and sex. Any resource can be used as a punishment or reward. The skinnarian approach to power.
These leaks came from what they call "anti-Mormon" web sites. I don't take credit. These leaks are intended to expose the business & religious structure of the organization.
I'm not sure and I don't think the mainstream media intends to attack the mainstream Mormon church. Though, it's true the international media outlets missreported and posted the photo of a SLC temple in the story about FLDS to the chagrin of Mormon publicists, who went to the length to correct the misconceptions that there is a connection between "official sect" LDS and "off-shoot cult" FLDS.
You have that wrong. Mainstream LDS continue to wield powerful influence in its affairs. That's why Mormons are so well-educated and 'moral' they are accepted as the employee of FBI, CIA, IRS and U.S. government.
LDS church headquarter in SLC continue to expand its influence with the thousands of missionaries actively proselytizing around the world except Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia and Communist nations (Cuba, China and Vietnam) which ban proselytizing (and Islamic nations are "dangerous" for the Mormon missionaries because apostasy from Islam in particular nations mean automatic capital punishment). And there's social/volunteering work donated by the Mormon faithfuls with charities such as Deseret Industries which provide temp employment to the poorest members who can apply for acceptance by asking the local bishop to write the note for D.I. employment office.
While I believe the member rolls of Mormon church actually decline with the increasing number of "inactive" -- which led the late President Gordon Hinckley to lash out in frustration and chew out his peers and disciplines on one rumored occasion -- Mormon church always polish the turd with public relations to impress the newcomers that the Mormon church is primarily about family values while emphasizing less on their version of the history how the church was founded and spread.
The LDS Church is really nothing more than a sect with its historical and doctrinal inconsistencies (one can take Second President & Prophet Brigham Young's sermon proclaiming Adam is God -- "God was once a man" -- as 'gospel truth' even though it's denied and suppressed by the authorities despite its official publication in Journal of Discourses decades ago), and I assure you as a former member (I was not that interested as a child and an adolescent, because I felt the theological doctrines are bizarre even to me as a budding intellectual) that LDS Church is a complete fabrication because, like the succeeding "brother" L. Ron Hubbard who founded Scientology as a tax shelter and power console, Joseph Smith Jr was a fabulist who saw the founding of a new religion based on filmsy legends (such as that Jews -- Israelites -- migrated to America, based on a since-debunked anthropical theory book "View of the Hebrews" by Ethan Smith [no relation]) and made up the story to sell religion to the gullible, semi-literate farming communities during the age of the religious superstitutions.
This is how Joseph Smith II found the power to manipulate the new converts so intoxicating he used his proclaimed prophetic powers to take young teenagers' hands in marriage for polygamous consummation declared "Holy" by J.S.
I could tell you my view of how and why
J.S. got killed (not the bunk historical revisionist LDS version that J.S. died an innocent man and a martyr at the hands of the mob), but space & time is limited.
Greg, Howard Hughes trusted the Mormon men because they are sworn to not only honesty but also secrecy (Mormons consider Mason-inspired temple rituals sacred, hence their ability to be secretive). Whether the LDS Church conspired to covet Hughes' mega-wealth assets after his death is speculative at best because, if my guess is correct, Howard never authored his will as he became aged, ill, senile and paranoid. So, we do not know whether the Mormon authorities truly targeted Howard Hughes by assisting him (he hired them as servants and guards; they did not come to him to propose offer of personal security) in a plot to gain his trust so much so he will author the will without pressure which indicate the whole corporate headquarter of LDS Church as the heir and executioner to the bound-with-riches estate.
As for the LDS Church bankrolling Las Vegas with the Mafia, I never heard of that. I would like to research this and maybe FOIA FBI archive for the documents pertaining to the LDS Church's relationship with the Mafia (if it's true and not hearsay, it's amazingly hypocritical of the Mormon authority since they oppose prostitution and gambling), then I will send it in PDF format to Wikileaks. The more the exposure, the better in embarrassing the Church.
Michael Rivero of What Really Happened has the links in a category related to religion on Mormon Church's corruption in drug-smuggling operations in Mexico by hiding the deposits. I will have to research that. It's like CIA smuggled crack into the Southwest to earn profits to fund black ops (journalist Gary Webb was murdered for this exposure).
Over at Alex Jones' Prison Planet, they claim Mormon church is a Satanic New World Order cult in disguise (can't find a link, sorry). I have to tell you that's a bunch of horseshit typical of Alex Jones fans' paranoia. It's probably true Mormon Church hope to gain foothold in the U.S. government with a Mormon President elect to develop the new American theocracy that will disregard the Constitution (even dissolve it altogether) and separation of church & state, not unlike Bush administration. This despite the Mormons' relevance for the U.S. Constitution as a "divinely inspired document" as repeated in speeches by the President, Apostles and General Authorities in semi-annual LDS conferences.
