The Islamic World Tells Lebanese Grand Mufti Mohamed Rashid Qabbani to bugger off

The Sunni Grand Mufti of Lebanon today totally lost his composure… or is it actually the US ‘friendly’  government which has finally reached its very end and is starting to show signs of panic and erratic behavior?    After a day of general strike which was called for by the Lebanese union quite some time ago to force the government to raise the monthly minimum wage which was far too low and unchanged since 1996, the unconstitutional Seniora government seems to be playing its very last cards and unleashed its top religious spokesman in hope that they might gain some credibility through religion.  That is of course hardly possible because the great majority of Lebanese and Arab Sunnis firmly stand by Hezbollah and its allies.  In addition to the Sunnis, the majority of the Lebanese Christians, ignored or discounted by the United States and the US ‘friendly’ government are also firm allies and supporters of the Lebanese Resistance.

Here is the incredible statement made by the Sunni pro-Saudi & US Mufti Mohamed Rashid Qabbani today:

“We were under the impression that Hezbollah was responsible for the resistance to Israeli occupation, but it has transformed itself into armed forces occupying Beirut and infringing on its rights and privacy.

Unfortunately this party has kidnapped the heart of the Lebanese capital Beirut for over a year and has transformed it into a camp for its armed militants.

And here it is today, kidnapping the airport of martyr Rafiq el Hariri in a provocative act to the Lebanese state in order to bypass the state regulations governing airport security and official state communications networks.

It is both regrettable and sad that an Islamic state should be funding all these transgressions which are harmful to the unity of the Lebanese Muslims,..  a unity which we aim to protect from every evil.

From both my religious and patriotic position from Dar el Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic, I call upon the leaders of Hezbollah to take the first step and pull their militants from the streets of Beirut as well as end the sit-in that is suffocating the capital and fear God for the sake of their families, their brethren and their  country.

Let God be the witness that I have delivered the message”

Why the long face Mufti Qabbani??  Are things not going well for the unconstitutional US ‘friendly’ government in Beirut?  Is the US unable to help and support it?  Didn’t Jumblaat or Gaegae’s trips to the US help?

Today was a day of strike called for and planned for by the Lebanese worker’s union well in advance as known by the Lebanese unconstitutional government.

Striking is the legal right of citizens and unions and denying them this right is illegal.  For anyone who followed the events in Lebanon today, the strikes that took place in the South of Lebanon happened without any problem.   There was no violence.  There were no militias firing off their weapons and trying to instigate strife. Everything went smoothly.  Why is that?  Because in the South of Lebanon, Hezbollah handles security and the Mustaqbal (Future) militias of Saad el Hariri (c/o Saudi Arabia) or the Lebanese Forces of Samir Gaegae (c/o Israel & the US) were not given a green light to roam around the street with their machine guns creating havoc so that the Grand Mufti could later come out with his convenient accusations against Hezbollah that he cooked together Saudi Arabia hoping to brand or frame Hezbollah for further 'crimes' that the Lebanese unconstitutional and collapsing government could now publicly forward to the United Nations.

Can you imagine that US interference in the Arab world has gone so far that it has led the Lebanese government to take a public stand against its own resistance force and to condemn it, when this government is currently still under occupation and doesn't have an army worth mentioning?  Imagine  that Seniora and his mafia would rather go down in History as having compromised  Lebanese land and sovereignty in order not to lose what they perceive as 'privileged positions' with the American Zionist "ally"?

Of course the United States and the Lebanese government will tell you that they are doing their maximum to equip the Lebanese army... but who in the Middle East doesn't know about the Lebanese army... if you can call it an army?

Take a glimpse at this video in which the Lebanese army on an occasion during the 2006 war with Israel, met the 'enemy'.  This video was actually shown on Israeli TV, because the Israelis were bragging about the servility of the Lebanese army.  Please watch General Adnan Daoud as he surrenders his base along with all the arms and even the ID's of the Lebanese soldiers.  As though this wasn't enough, General Adnan also was so welcoming to his occupiers that he offered them all tea.   General Adnan directly reported to one of Seniora's main allies who was undoubtedly proud of the good generals reception of the Israeli occupier.  This is of course the 'army' Israel would like to always keep in Lebanon and of course this is the reason Israel's friends and allies work so hard to get rid of Hezbollah and its allies.  Mufti Mohamed Rashid Qabbani's direct attempts to create strife between the Muslim Shi'as and Sunnis in Lebanon and beyond by pointing the finger to Hezbollah,  is preposterous and shameful!  We Muslims all know who Mufti Qabbani reports to and we all know, Sunna and Shi'a who Hezbolla really and the enemy it truly stands against, also is. Your words Mufti Qabbani only emphasize for us the complicity of your party with the enemy.

As for Hezbollah's record of defending Lebanon and recapturing occupied land by and from the Israeli enemy, I don't think that I need to elaborate.

Mufti Qabbani’s accusations against Hezbollah are not only ludicrous, they are shameful and shameless! The pro-Saudi/US Sunni Mufti accuses Shi’ite Hezbollah of occupying their own country?!  Well… that certainly is new!  I didn’t know that Lebanese citizens could be accused of ‘occupying’ Lebanon!

We all know that the opposition sit-in in Beirut has closed a few designer boutiques that only sell to the very rich and spoiled Sunni and Christian Lebanese anyway… but shouldn’t the good Mufti be sympathizing with the million and a half or more Lebanese who have been deprived for the past few months of electricity and who can no longer afford the rising prices of food or gas?  Shouldn’t the man of God be siding with the Lebanese who lost their homes and sources of income during the Israeli attack of 2006 rather than side with those who stole the aid money that was initially due to the refugees and homeless but seems to have landed in the pockets of others?

What is regrettable is that the dear Lebanese Mufti seems to be confused between religion and politics.  It is understandable that he is losing his mind because in spite of all the propaganda that surrounds Hezbollah and that lends unconditional support to the Seniora government which is unconstitutional according to Lebanese law, the grand Mufti and his US/Saudi/Israeli mafia seems to be falling apart.

A mere strike is described by them as “occupation” and “kidnapping”.  Is it illegal for the workers of the airport to strike?  Did the Seniora government expect the Rafiq Hariri airport to continue running normally while all the workers were on strike?  If the Seniora unconstitutional government knew that it couldn’t handle a strike by the Lebanese union and opposition, why did ignore the union’s demands for the past years?  Why did it totally refuse to reach any understanding with the opposition beyond rhetoric for Reuters and AP?  Why did it keep diminishing the relevance and importance of the unions and of the opposition forces in Lebanon when the truth seems to be that the opposition forces, Muslim and Christian, are far stronger than the current US friendly government coalition.

Mufti Qabbani,  you certainly don’t speak for  the Muslims and you don’t speak for the Sunnis.  You Mufti Qabbani, speak for your masters in Washington and Tel Aviv.  Most of us will be quite happy to bid farewell to the Seniora government... and more so... to his allies.

                      ***********

This is a video clip for a song that has been very popular lately in the Middle East.  It is a kiddy song entitled "Shater Shater"... meaning Clever or good boy!  It's sung to young school kids.  It's not really done well, but it reflects perfectly how the Arab and Muslim world feel about puppet governments... and Mufti Qabbani is a pillar of the Lebanese one.

Shater Shater....

La la la la...

Who wants to sing with  me the song “Clever Clever”??

Me…meee…. Me…. Meee…me

Clever,   Clever…

Those who obey their parents… what do we tell them?

Clever,  Clever…

Those who sit like grown-ups alone…. What do we tell them?

Clever, Clever…

And those who obey their parents…, what do we tell them?

Clever, Clever…

And those who excel in school and don’t annoy their teacher

Clever, Clever...

We love him and we keep telling him:

Clever, Clever...

Mufti Qabbani, you should be dancing to this song!

So now you will understand the frustration one feels when Jews lie about certain groups and movements. There are Jews and useful idiots of theirs running amok on the Net talking about how Nasrallah and Hezbollah are 100% Israeli. I find that a bit hard to swallow myself.

Islamic Da'wa Academy dean Sheikh Abdul Nasser al-Jabri said that Beirut is for all its citizens and not for only one group. Reading the statement, Sheikh Jbari called for the preservation of the people's blood and properties by not walking towards sedition.
He lashed out at Lebanon Mufti Mohamad Rashid Kabbani and called him not to be biased and not to echo the positions of MP Walid Jumblatt. "What Sheikh Kabbani said about the struggle being between Hezbollah and the Sunnis is false. The struggle is political between a US-Zionist project and forces of resistance extending beyond Lebanon. Some insist to give this struggle a religious nature to please Washington or some Arab rulers," Sheikh Jabri said.
He added that "the remnants of the US-backed government headed by Fouad Saniora" are held responsible for the deterioration of the economic, political and security situation.
"The recent challenge to expose the resistance's communications network to the Israeli enemy and the removal of Brigadier General Wafiq Shqeir (the head of the security apparatus in Beirut's international airport) is a blatant violation of the Ministerial Statement (which secured confidence to Saniora's government) and has led to the deterioration of the situation," Sheikh Jabri said.
He called on Saniora to respond to the demands of the people, "especially the demands of Sunni Muslims, and take a heroic step that would take us out of this American tunnel."

THE SUNNI COMMITTEE FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE RESISTANCE: KABBANI POSITION AGAINST UNITY
The Sunni Committee for the Support of the Resistance criticized Mufti Kabbani's position as "against unity among the Lebanese."
In a statement, the Sunni Committee asked "the leadership that is concerned for the Sunnis about receiving the killer of Sunni former Prime Minister Rashid Karameh in Dar el-Fatwa (the headquarters of Mufti Kabbani)" and "whether it serves Sunni interest or not."
"Opening the file of the resistance's communications network only serves the interests of Israel and its aggressive scheme in the region," the statement read.

THE "ITTIHAD PARTY" WARNS KABBANIN OF EXPLOTING POSITION TO SERVE KNOWN POLITICAL ALLIANCE
Meanwhile the Lebanese Ittihad Party (Union Party) warned Sheikh Kabbani against going too far in exploiting his post as "Mufti" to the benefit of a known political alliance in the country.
The party also reminded Mufti Kabbani of Hezbollah's history in resisting and defending Beirut against the Israeli invader and how the resistance confronted the US-Israeli plot in June 2006.
"After saying what you said, we hope that God would forgive you for the road you chose to take and for the woes you will bring to Beirut and the Sunnis," the statement concluded.

MOURABITOUN PARTY: SUNNIS FED UP WITH KIDNAPPING THEIR SECT BY  GROUP THAT DOESN'T REPRESENT THEM
For its part the " Independent Nasserite Movement (Mourabitoun)" stressed Hezbollah was and continues to be a symbol of resistance. "The Sunnis are fed up with the kidnapping of their sect by a group that does not represent them or express their values. We hope to see Dar el-Fatwa for all the Lebanese and not just for a group without the other," the statement said.

FORMER MP ARAKJI: MUFTI KABBANI DIVIDED SUNNI SECT
Former MP Adnan Arakji said that Mufti Kabbani does not have the right to talk on behalf of all the Sunnis in Lebanon. He accused Sheikh Kabbani dividing the Sunni sect in through his adoption of a specific Sunni group, adding that Dar al-Fatwa should care for all Sunnis alike.
In a statement, Arakji asked Mufti Kabbani: "Aren’t the inciting and dividing statements of Mount Lebanon Mufti Mohamed Ali Jouzou enough, so that Mufti Kabbani pushes Dar Al-Fatwa into the abyss of sectarian conflict…to fulfill the US scheme aiming at causing strife amongst Muslims in general?"
Arakji urged all Arab and Islamic countries mentioned in Kabbani's "inciting call" to disregard his comments and called on all Sunnis in Lebanon to perceive the dangers of the conspiracy that is targeting their fate and the future of their country
