Iran was at the center of talks held between members of the Joint Parliamentary Committee for the US and Israel, Knesset Member Yuval Steinitz told Ynetnews on Monday evening.Steinitz is hosting a delegation of Congresswoman Jane Harman (D-California), Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-Arizona) and Congressman Steve Pearce (R-New Mexico), and Arizona Senator John Kyl [black list them all!] who arrived on a military flight to Israel on Sunday night to meet with fellow Israeli committee members. [one big happy family] On Monday evening, the delegation met with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem, and later Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu.
Is that the same Senator Kyle seen bowing before the Wailing Wall?

"The Iranian subject was the first topic in all of the discussions," Steinitz said, adding: "It was the central issue."
"Everyone expressed an unequivocal stance that Iran must not be allowed to be a nuclear country, and to have nuclear weapons," Steinitz said. "There is some hope that if Europe works with the US to achieve economic sanctions, and a blockade on Tehran, then Iran may agree to halts its program, like North Korea," he said. "If not, it's pretty clear that the military solution is on table," [so much for 'going it alone'] he added.
The US delegation toured Jerusalem throughout Monday. Knesset Member Steinitz told Ynetnews he showed the US delegation around the works being carried out at the Mugrabi Gate, as well as archaeological work around the Western Wall.
"I explained to them that the Islamic Movement's claims are not political, but are a total rejection of Judeo-Christian history. Their claim that there was no Temple in Jerusalem, and their rejection of what was said in the Old and New Testament, is an attack on Judeo-Christian tradition. It is an attempt to start a religious fanatic war," Steinitz said.
What Judeo-Christian history? This guy is off his rocker!
There is no 'Judeo-Christian' history to speak of that could give Jews any reason for comfort or vice versa.

He added that the delegation understood the severity of the issue.
In the past, the joint Knesset-Congress-Senate committee helped make hundreds of millions of dollars available for Israel's missile defense shield, Arrow, which is produced in cooperation [with] Boeing in the US.
In addition, according to Steinitz, the committee has in the past prevented arms sales to Arab states that would have threatened Israel's unique edge in the region; it also initiated the Iran nuclear sanctions law, which makes it illegal for governments to provide arms or aid Iran's nuclear program, the Knesset member said.
"This is not just a polite visit," Steinitz emphasized.

On Tuesday, the delegation will visit an Arrow missile battery at an IDF base in Palmahim, in southern Israel, and will receive a guided tour on the recent successful test of the Arrow system. They will then meet with Mossad Director Meir Dagan.
This information ought to be plastered on every billboard, every bus stop, every bathroom stall in the nation!

I think that the senators and congressmen should be invited to explain that in a court of law when they come home from Israel.

Not only the senators and congressmen have been carried away, it is the entire foreign policy of the US which has been hijacked by Israel.
That brings us to the statement that the "committee" considers a military option. As the senators and congressmen are kowtowing to the Israeli position however destructive it might be to US interests, it does not consider anything: It just wants military aggression on Iran at the expense and at the cost of lives of Americans.
This most recent move brings us one more step closer to a situation, when the notion of a sovereign USA cannot any longer be sustained. As already expressed very clearly by former prime minister Sharon the US is controlled by Israel.
In that case why not draw the logical conclusion and withdraw the immunity under which the US diplomats operate and send them back where they come from?
We know very well that an attack on Iran, probably nuclear, is in the making. We also know that there is nothing which can justify such an attack. As Israel wants it anyway there will be a false flag operation, presumably a staged attack on a US naval ship in the Persian Gulf.
Mossad would have no problems to carry out such an operation as it will not be the first time that they kill Americans to attain their goals (s.s. Liberty etc.)
In this situation Russia is in a position that enables it to play a crucial role to prevent aggression and unnecessary loss of life. And it can do it cheaply too. I suggest that Russia puts satellite monitoring of Iran and the Persian Gulf in place and broadcast it live on satellite TV. This will make it much more difficult for Israel and its American colony to fake Iran's attack without which it cannot start its aggression.
At the same time Israel and its American colony should be constantly reminded of the capabilities of the new Russian missiles, which are already in Iran, and which can sink the entire US fleet in the Persian Gulf.
The effect may be enhanced if China, sitting on one trillion worth of Treasury Bonds, will threaten to dump its entire portfolio.

Since 2004, Kyl has voted with Bush 100 percent of the time. Kyl is radically opposed to things like the Sierra Club, and has voted against environmental legislation 100 percent of the time. He also voted against John McCain's legislation to limit greenhouse gas emissions. He also voted against international proposals to limit greenhouse gasses. The two AIPAC wheeler-dealers were indicted on Aug. 4, 2005 under the seldom-used ESPIONAGE ACT. Since then their trial date has been POSTPONED several times, but now seems likely to begin in early 2007 in Alexandria, at the Federal District Court for Eastern Virginia... Meanwhile, across the Potomac in Washington, DC, another sensational case involving AIPAC has surfaced. According to the Oct. 20 issue of Time magazine, the Department of Justice and the FBI have an “ongoing” investigation into whether CONGRESSWOMAN JANE HARMAN (D-CA) and AIPAC arranged for wealthy donors to lobby House Minority Leader NANCY PELOSI (also D-CA) on Harman’s behalf, and whether in return Harman agreed to help persuade the BUSH administration to GO LIGHTER on Rosen and Weissman.

The spurned Harman embarked on an aggressive campaign to persuade Pelosi to reappoint her. According to Time, the alternative LA Weekly reported that Harman “had some major contributors call Pelosi to impress on her the importance of keeping her as head of the House Intelligence Committee. These tactics did not endear Harman to Pelosi.”
Among those who called Pelosi on Harman’s behalf, according to Time, was billionaire ZIONIST, HAIM SABAN.

Harman has hired GOP SUPER LAWYER TED OLSON, a former solicitor general, because, Olson told Time, “she is not aware of any such [FBI] investigation, does not believe it is occurring and wanted to make sure you and your editors know that as far as she knows, that’s not true…No one from the Justice Department has contacted her.”
The New York Times of Oct. 24 and the following day’s Washington Post carried articles on the AIPAC/Harman affair, although both denigrated the matter. The Jewish Forward of Oct. 27, however, saying the investigation has been “EXPANDED,” described the controversy as “EXPLOSIVE.”
