The House That Hubris Built: The New U.S. Embassy in Iraq

The Beijing embassy that opened in 2008 (above) had previously been described as the "largest single construction project undertaken by the Department of State on foreign soil". It is ten acres, compared to Iraq's 104 acres.

Heck! They could build 2 towers of babel! How'bout a 3 fer 1?
And don't forget to invite the azraeli racists to partay!

The embassador's quarters alone is 16,000 square feet.

More here, and here, at commondreams.

The job of designing the building was given to a Jewish architectural group called Berger Devine Yaeger.

..they can call their new greed zone: NEW bABELON.

Grim Reaper | Mon, 2008-06-02 16:14

"Since the embassy is designed to be entirely self-sufficient and won't be dependent on Iraq's unreliable public utilities there will be no reason or excuse for any of the thousands of Americans working in this space, which is about the size of eighty football fields, to share the daily life experience of an Iraqi or even come in accidental contact with one. "

wow, COZ.  This is overwhelmingly depressing.  Talk about  separation:  "Us and Them"  - a typical North American game.

Have you seen Iraq For Sale yet? I'm guessing you have, but check it out or bookmark it for later if you haven't. It's a must see, and provides a good insight into the culture of separation going on over there between the average Iraqi and U.S. contractors, the disconnect. More hubris. Big Halliburton swimming pools, lavish banquets, and so on. Prepare to fume with anger.

No I did not see this video.  I just got done watching it.  Very gruesome and sickening.

Rhiannon | Tue, 2008-06-03 11:32

On my post you had said we agree about there not being a vengeful God.

Yes.  We do agree.  May I direct you to get a hold of a book called Conversations with God - it is actually 3 books in one.

I think you will find it   I N T E R E S T I N G!

Don't buy it.  Get it from the library.  That's what I did, oh lucky me.

Rhiannon | Tue, 2008-06-03 11:47

You're welcome, m'dear. Glad you found the time. Cheers.

Crimes of Zion | Tue, 2008-06-03 11:49

I've read all three of the CWG series - loved 'em. Volume 1 is online here.

Crimes of Zion | Tue, 2008-06-03 11:52

COZ! You are resourceful! I don't know whether to be jealous or impressed! LOL! Instead I am happy. Hey Grim...check it out.

Rhiannon | Tue, 2008-06-03 12:00

You have to be impressed before you can be jealous, so maybe you're both! Heheh.

I had the first volume bookmarked, but I just noticed that Volume 2 and Volume 3 are also available on that site.

Rhiannon, check this out and tell me what you think. I just read the whole thing.

Q:  what’s your thoughts on “peak oil”

A:  It is known within certain circles that it is manufactured.  The Earth is producing more oil/gas than is being used now – believe it or not, it is a natural process “the more you take, the more it produces to balance itself. Study the bees and the way they produce honey and you will understand.  On top of that there are many places with large amounts of natural resources which never have been touched.  The agenda?  I think you know.

Q:  Why have you allowed us to breed like rats if the population is what you feel threatens  you?

A:  1. We haven’t allowed that, you have more power than you think you have.

2.  Population does not threaten “us” in any way….again a myth.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=

I agree with #1.  When you're on a low cholesterol diet your body just makes more.  If you are eating high cholesterol foods, your body makes little.  That is what we call body wisdom.  It's the quality of foods that is key, but that is a completely different story.

I don't buy into this scarcity myth.  We are being swindled.  Our abundance of resources are kept from us, held onto by a few.

I also believe that the over-population scare is a myth.  Somehow we are made to believe if we can kill masses of people, get them out of the way, there will be relief.  Well it has never happened, has it?

So far I have only read a little bit of this site.  I will read more tomorrow.  Until then, could you tell me who this elite bloodline person is?  This chosen bloodline?

Hey...thanks for the links to books 2 and 3 of the Walsch book.  :-))  AWESOME!!
