Ron Paul Says Bin Laden Alive & 'Al-Qaeda' a Bigger Threat Than Ever on MSNBC
Ron Paul: Osama bin Laden loves what we have done
Rep. Ron Paul, who recently suspended his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination, assured the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Wednesday that “the fight goes on. … I’ve always campaigned for liberty.”
Paul said it’s “irrelevant” to him who wins the election in November, because “whether it’s Obama or McCain, from my point of view, there’s not a whole lot of difference.”
Paul strongly supported the recent Supreme Court decision giving habeas corpus rights to Guantanamo inmates and criticized McCain’s comments on it, saying, “If you’d call that court ruling ‘naive,’ you’d have to call the Founding Fathers naive.”
“We’re looking for trouble,” Paul continued. “Why are we going into these foreign countries arresting people? … There’s more hostility towards us, more enemies than ever before.”
“We don’t understand exactly why the hostility is directed toward us,” Paul continued. “We think it’s being directed toward us because we’re free and prosperous — and it has nothing to do with why there’s a band of criminal, crazy people who want to kill us. … They’re very, very weak, desperate people, and if we don’t understand that and we declare war against the world, all we’re going to do is create a greater threat. Al Qaeda is bigger than ever before.”
Paul then returned to the problem of what to do with the Guantanamo detainees. “The one thing you don’t do is that you assume they’re terrorists,” he stated. “They’re all suspects, and if you don’t have reason to hold them in an American prison, they shouldn’t be there.”
“Why do we have secret prisons around the world?” Paul continued. “Do you think Guantanamo is the only one? … I think it’s a terrible way for a free country and a republic to act. I think we’re violating all the principles that the Founding Fathers tried to put into our Constitution, and we’re just too careless with personal liberty.”
Paul concluded by saying that his new project is campaignforliberty.com and that the rally he intends to hold at the time of the Republican National Convention is already swelling in size. “We insist we have fun, and we’re not going to try to disrupt the convention,” Paul emphasized.
Ron is sure sticking it to 'the elite' by backing up their whole pretext for why the Zionist "War on Terror" exists on TV every chance he gets. & considering how much of a dive he took when there was blatant vote fraud perpetrated against him, some of which was caught on camera I don't think he was ever really trying to win the Presidency either.

I was conditioned by media propaganda to believe that al-Qaeda is the de facto sophisticated anti-West terrorist organization. I stopped believing this fairy tale the further I did the research sometime in 2003.
Ron Paul, just like about everyone except truthseekers and insiders, probably does not know that al-Qaeda is a CIA-created black op currently used by the compromised and/or deceived media (East and West) and Mossad as a useful cover to commit their evil terrorist activities because deception is "complete" as intended by the powers-that-be.
Because media propaganda, with talking heads screaming bloody murder at 9-11, 7/7, 2005 Bali bombings and other atrocities, represent the power of persuasion, from the perspective of average thinking or stupid human being, it's difficult to extricate oneself from this delusion that manifest in "black and white, good versus evil" viewpoint. The "liberty-granting" West, good; opposing sides (Baathist Party autocracy-Saddam Hussein, Taliban, 'al-Qaeda', Iraqi insurgency, Iran & even anti-war protestors) bad.
I don't blame Ron Paul for his delusion in denying that 9/11 is an inside job (when he was forced to answer a hostile question posed by Fox News moderator in an attempt to disassociate himself from 9/11 Truth movement claiming U.S. govt's complicity in foreknowledge and staging an inside job) in a Republican presidential debate not a long ago) and that he claims al-Qaeda have become more powerful.
Paul is perhaps an unwitting victim of propaganda. However, maybe he knows for certainty that if he asks very deep and probing questions about 9/11 he will get slandered and maybe "assassinated" -- that is, if he ever gains a respectable position that rises above being a mere representative of a local Texas district.
This is why the truth about JFK and RFK assassinations remain permanently concealed as a matter of (ostensible) national security. Because if the truth is reveale about the motives for the murders, as well as 9/11 being an inside job, American citizens would either feel resigned to fate that they cannot do anything about it (too cowardly to start the revolution because they have family, children, job and even reputation to protect) or they will convene to overthrow the government.
The fact is, the majority of Americans is extremely selfish and cowardly. Their failure to hold the government accountable, especially after the disastrous invasion of Iraq in policy quagmires, ungodly waste of taxpayers' money that deplete national economy, depraved corruption, etc coupled with Democratic Party leaders' intentional negligence of their duty to respect the citizenry's will to impeach the administration, means that most Americans have given up on the Founding Fathers' vision, because they do not care or are completely deluded that despite some errors, "everything is all right".
Ron Paul is typical of the pitifully gullible American who come under the ironclad grip of propaganda to disbelieve anything contradictory to the myth perpetuated by sinister intelligence and governmental institutions in collaboration with the corporate media (even alternative weeklies mock 9/11 Truthers as "loonies", like Phoenix News Times' reporter-cum-colulmnist Stephen Lemmons did towards 9/11 Conference held in Chandler, Arizona in early 2007).
If you ask everyone working in business and on the street -- like vendors, cashiers, stockers, secretaries, security guards, etc. -- that al-Qaeda is not what they believe, they would not only mock you in derisive laughter but become aggressive towards you in adamant denial.
This is a fact of life. We live in the world of fiction conjured up by the media that tell lies and more lies until it become truth. This is why most Americans continue to insist JFK was killed by none other than the bitter, Marxist lunatic loser Lee Harvey Oswald, no conspiracy, case closed.
I cannot excuse Ron Paul's "ignorance", let alone rationalize away his delusion. Self-delusion is prevalent among the populations. It's like a self-propagating virus -- the more you trust the media as gospel of truth when it comes to world events and politics from the corporate media perspective, the less you know.
Truth is a commodity and they want to control it as though we have no right to know everything, only select ones. If anything appears disturbing or inconvenient, they simply censor, lie and exaggerate to hide the truth.
It's unfortunate Ron Paul allows other people to formulate opinion and permit deceitful lies to pass as fact through the media -- newspaper, tv, radio, periodical articles and books. It's the media that encourage social management through the sheer force of "lies equal truth" propaganda in fostering political bias by "consciously" lying to oneself it cannot be possible at all, like JFK/RFK being killed by spooks, 9/11 an inside job, that two Iraq Wars happened on lies, al-Qaeda the CIA creation, etc.
It makes me wonder about the intellectual curiousity of people like Ron Paul. Don't they know how to work the google?
There was a blog story recently on WRH that talked about the amount of hits when israel and 911 are used as search terms. Shouldn't that ring some alarms? The amount of coincidence is breathtaking.
This leads me to question the present state of our "intelligence" services. Many of these lower level agents were prevented from uncovering the "plot" before 911 by higher-ups. The average spook in the FBI, CIA, etc... must know something's up BY NOW.
I'll throw in the story about congress being afraid to impeach Bush because they are afraid he'll declare martial law. Have we become a society of cowards or fools? I suppose there is a juncture where living in denial is abetted by both cowardice and stupidity.
Everyone on this blog has probably seen "V for Vendetta". In that movie, Inspector Finch (Stephen Rea) finally figures it out and says: "If our own government was responsible for the deaths of almost a hundred thousand people... would you really want to know?" I think the numbers are very telling. Despite the obviousness of israeli/US gov't involvement in 9/11, there are many people, especially in government and media, who really don't want to know.
I suppose media and government people are affected to a greater degree because if 9/11 was an inside job, and elections are controlled, then their media career and all their success are somewhat of a farce. There is probably a greater willingness to embrace the "inside job" among the poor and disenfranchised. These people can then look at their lack of commercial success and say, "It's all a rigged game, run by corrupt insiders." (And I count myself among the latter group. ; ))

"Stop judging by appearances, but judge justly."
He knows what's going on imo. I woke up to the truth about Ron Paul when there was blatant vote fraud perpetrated against him & he came in fifth in one of the early primaries despite having the largest amount of supporters with signs there by far. & he came in fifth which was definately a fraud, he at least would have come in third or so, & gave a speech like "heh, well you know I'm mainly just here to get the issues out." The guy is a limited hangout agent in my opinion, just like the organization he supports the John Birch Society. He might think that he's doing some good or something by relating 'Al-Queda' & 'Bin Laden' getting more powerful due to the U.S. being at war but whatever, all he's really doing for the most part is supporting their laughably fraudulent pretexts for the endless 'War on Terror'.
Infinite, you're right. There's something fishy about Ron Paul's "denial" (public or private) of possible vote fraud and sabotage.
Barack Obama also "denied" there was vote fraud in New Hampshire primary where Diebold machines prevail. I wrote about this.
Like Paul, Obama let it slip. This means they don't take loss due to vote fraud seriously, because they can just move on. If one of them complain about the possibilities of vote fraud, the media would paint him a bitter nutjob for the stupid audiences to jeer and laugh.
It's like entertainment in ancient Roman times for mass distraction. Bread and circuses.
I still support Dr Paul, even after the fact he ended his campaign for president considering impossible odds, but there are questions about his, ahem, sanity -- adamantly proclaiming Osama bin Laden/al-Qaeda having become more powerful and that 9/11 was simply caused by fanatical terrorist hijackers without assistance of any kind (hell, even NORAD "failed" to intervene in haste, which should raise a huge red flag).
Because some politicians fear being "tar and feathered" to oblivion by the media if they indeed have inside knowledge, so it's entirely possible Washington body politic is severely compromised. Integrity and protection of assets & family matter more than truth and loyalty to Founding Fathers' design. Maybe Dr Paul is one of them. Maybe he's very naive and even cowardly despite his respectable work for the People in his district and for arguing against unreasonable violations of the Constitution at U.S. Capitol, etc.
Again, nobody is perfect. Even a single officer/politician of prominence who dares to challenge the powers that be on 9/11 is automatically scrubbed out by the media in negative publicity that will cost him his position as result of censure, demotion or termination, election loss, etc.
Obama said recently he wants to bring Osama bin Laden to justice, as do George. W Bush (who suddenly realized he needs to trot out bin Laden's corpse to conclude his "legacy", never mind the fact he personally said he does not care where Osama is). This means Obama is incapable of grasping the reality that Osama is dead, because he also came under the influence of media and government lies.
Either Obama neglects to do research or he's a naive fool. Everybody -- average idiot sheeple -- still believe Osama bin Laden is alive out there, yet he's successful in hiding as a wanted criminal mastermind of 9/11 (he denied he was responsible for the atrocity in the interview in an obscure Pakistani newspaper) for close to 8 long years.
As I said before, we live in the world of fiction. Too bad they still believe the bullshit myths spun by the Elite that count on the pliant media to further the goals of a controlled society. Great lies as social management tools. Look what U.S. government did to stenuously cover up TWA 800 in 1996 by claiming the unexplainable spark in fuel tank blew up the airplane when in fact it was an missile launched by the U.S. Navy in a grave error (or deliberate mass murder).
If the media, ignoring the US government's instructions to assist in the massive cover-up, report what happened, the American public, as well as foreign governments representng the victims, would be very indignant. They would sue and freeze diplomacy, with the American people marching in protests demanding redressing grievance and accountability. U.S. government hate being caught so they count on the corporate media to spread big lies.
This is the definition of Fascism. The corporations control America by using the media as the weapon -- and the supreme role as kingmaker -- to control the two-party system in every way possible and prevent genuine change from ever taking place, by weeding out the challengers (third party and otherwise) so the voters are deprived of the access to information to make decisions.
The political machine of Washington is in near complete control. Ron Paul almost lost a seat to the opportunistic Neocon scumbag Chris Peden but he secured the seat in the Republican primary.
However, Mike Gravel is still fighting tooth and nail against the Establishment, first as a derided Democratic presidential candidate, then his attempt to become nominated as Libertartian Party that ended in vain and now a Don Quixote figure. Mike represents true change, yet it seemed as though he doesn't exist according to the media.
It is the media that decide what you can and cannot see. Control of information. The Internet is truly the last bastion of free speech, because cable and broadcast television, traditional newspaper (even small town) and public FCC-regulated radio are already controlled to expunge anything that contradict the agenda of thought and social control as the facilitator of Great Lies.
a statement like that is simply inexcusable...he's not that stupid.

"Money" has no value - people do.
There are several things that show who RP is;
1. 9/11 and Bin Laden denial. (sic)
2. The Gold Standard
3. Taking a dive, just like gore and kerry.
4. Liar.
5. Mason.
Sorry, Nepos.. I know he does say alot of feel-good things about ending wars and going back to constitutional law, but i have a really creepy feeling about him. Remember what repugnican du$h said before all the bu$hit?
Shall i post gore and kerry's
stop, dive, roll-over 'n play dead speeches?
He does put forth bills to legalize hemp & stuff, & he votes really well most of the times. I just found this over the top & how he took a dive in the election which I didn't think he would do.
RP also wants to close down the irs and federal reserve, which are GREAT IDEAS, but one of the ways he wants to pay for it is by gutting the secular socialist programs for the poor, and he says the church can take care of people who need medical care, etc.. I'm not sure if the church is in the position to take care of everybody, like he says. I think he represents a throwback to a time long past. The grass is always greener so they say, in the Good ol' days!
I don't think he goes far enough with his overhaul of the beast, and is protecting a rich circle of elite Texans. hmm?
RP mentions the secret cia prisons abroad! Do you even think for a second that he doesn't know about the rest of it? huh, 911? hello? operator?
..forgot to mention shilliary's rolling over to Obama.. What a dog and pony show!! Every one of those corrupt MF are TRAITORS, we need to get this through our heads, or it's civil war time. Kucinich should be spared, for at least doing SOMETHING that a paper-pushin'pig should be doing!

Nobody was a bigger supporter of Ron Paul than I initially. But when he missed the opportunity to call for a new independent investigation of 911, I knew he didn't have it. You are right on all five of your counts against him - I had the hardest time proving he was a mason, but his wife and daughter are eastern Star and Rainbow girls and that proves it. Not that there haven't been good Constitutional masons - this country was founded in the taverns and lodges, not the churches. Truth is I really think Ron Paul got put up to running and that he really doesn't want the job. I think he is hoping to see a movement grow and some young leaders emerge. That's what it's gonna take - a dynamic leader who knows how to keep his head down until he gets the reigns firmly in hand, and then has the instinct to eliminate the PROBLEM completely and ruthlessly.
I didn't say that I would defend Ron Paul from all criticism. Criticism is encouraged. He can hold on his own, but I'm disappointed he "believes" Osama bin Laden is still alive and al-Qaeda being significantly stronger. I would write the letter to Dr Paul to let him know of the deception, but I figure it would be a waste of time and effort, because the influence -- media and subtle social pressure that discourage the big question -- is so pervasive he chose to believe the lies in the aftermath of 9/11.
I do not know much on the subject of gold standard since it was taken out on Nixon's order in the early 70's. Reinstating gold standard while the economy is still fragile from Federal Reserve/US Treasury's abuse of USD -- and the burden of national debt plus consistent taxation for obligatory "secular socialist" programs -- might be as dangerous as attempting Russian Roulette.
I think fixing the monetary policy by overhauling the government to eliminate tax waste -- reduce the bloated military budget to start with -- and lift the burden to make the national economy more robust in productivity should be the start to pay down at least one-third of the accumulated national debt before implementation of the silver standard is established. The Founding Fathers were right about the debasement of the paper currency, so this may be why Paul intends to follow the plan of restoring credit to turn around the USA from debtor nation to creditor nation, so foreign entities cannot control American financial policy by dictation. China currently holds the largest surplus in USD, I believe. Unless Saudi Arabia is king in lucrative oil trade.
I don't believe Ron Paul will listen when the "facts" -- and even hypothesis of potential socio-economic chaos if Paul's laissez-faire plan is implemented were he elected a president -- contradict his firm credo. But I wouldn't lose my support for him because some of the policies may offend our "common sense" and he stands alone (along with Gravel) against the Establishment, risking his political career to actually serve the People instead of the other way around (most Congresspeople -- Republicans and some Democrats -- listen to the money waved in their face by the lobbyists representing corporate and foreign entities).
Paul is by no means a savior offering the best of all possible worlds if only he had a real shot at presidency. He supported Ronald Reagan for the initial election, and we know how that turned out -- regressive right-wing America-centric politics governing favoring control of South America to eliminate rise of Socialism/Communism, corpocracy and Cold War paranoia that bled U.S. dry in the few trillions of debt accumulation.
Paul might very well turn out to be another Reagan for failure to quell corporate corruption and support despotic pro-U.S. rebel/government factions among other infamities of Reagan legacy. George W Bush followed Reagan/Bush Sr's lead and the result is dismaying.
Only Paul and Gravel, with warts and all, offer the solution as an antidote to the current problems America faces (overhauling US government to be more transparent and accountable, elimination of IRS/Federal Reserve, reversal of war policy, stop kissing Israel's ass, etc) because they are anti-Establishment figures representing real change, unlike Hillary and Obama's bullshit campaign slogans.
Paul may have ended his bid for presidency but that does not mean the revolution must end right there. The revolution must go on until it is finally achieved against the odds.
fuck RP that lieing pussy. i knew he was a bad guy from the get, but things like this that come out regularily just prove it even more so. its pretty blatant. always has been really. anyone getting anywhere close to the presidency should be considered a piece of shit. especialy when we have this guy telling his followers to drop the 9/11 shit, and constantly propigating the Al CIAda myth.
