'We're not planning a pre-emptive nuclear strike - honest to G-d!

Israel will stage next month its first-ever nationwide drill simulating a nuclear and chemical missile attack on its cities, rescue services said yesterday.

The exercise was initiated by the army’s home-front corps in the wake of last summer’s war in Lebanon and Iran’s calls for the destruction of the Jewish state and its controversial nuclear programme.

They must be talking about israel's nuclear weapons program, because Iran doesn't have one.

The main scenarios which will be simulated are a massive rocket attack on cities as well as a “conventional and non-conventional missile attack,” said Magen David Adom rescue services spokesman Yerucham Mandola.
During the drill - which will include army rescue forces, police, medical and firefighting services - air-raid sirens may be sounded across the entire country.

The Hezbollah militia fired over 4,000 rockets against northern Israel during the war last summer, killing more than 40 civilians and paralysing the region’s industry and economy.

During the 1991 Gulf War, Israeli citizens were equipped with gas masks out of fear of a chemical attack. None of the missiles fired from Iraq against Israel were equipped with chemical warheads. – AFP

Alright, let me get this straight -

israel is fully prepared for a FULL SCALE NUCLEAR ATTACK against its citizens, but American citizens were left to drown because the federal government - the same one that authorizes billions in AID to israel each year - did not fund the necessary repairs to a basic concrete levy system?

And not only that - but, since the 1990's every israeli citizen has been equiped with a gas mask - presumably at the expense of American taxpayers - yet those vulture capitalists at the Sago mine got away with handing faulty gas masks to their workers, which resulted in their deaths.

I don't know about you - but, I am flaming mad!
