israel stole 30 bln cubic litres of Water from Golan Heights
How else are they supposed to turn the desert into Paradise?!!
Not to mention fill the inground pools in their illegal settlements.
Arid Israel pumped out nearly 30 billion cubic litres of water from water-rich Golan Heights since its occupation in 1967 to flood its deserts, Quneitra Governor Nawaf Al-Fares said Tuesday.Golan has 14 per cent of Syria's water resources, he said when briefing Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who visited parts of Quneitra, the liberated territory, Tuesday morning.
The scenic and strategic Golan Heights that appears bare with bombed out structures and sparsely populated was captured by Israeli troops in 1967 during the Arab-Israel war. Tel Aviv has not return the land to Syria despite decades of international pressure.
Abdullah, who is Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) chairman, fired a salvo today after the visit, calling on the international community to support Syria's claims to its lost territory, as a result some 500,000 people have been displaced from their native homes until today.
"Syria has the right to its claim and it must get the support from the international community. Those who hate invasion and respect human rights must support Syria," he said.
Well, what are you waiting for?
Pass it on!
Take a stand against those who would invade and steal another people's land and water for their own selfish enjoyment as the chosen few.

"The Jewish presence on the Golan was renewed in 1886, when the B'nei Yehuda society of Safed purchased a plot of land four kilometers north of the present-day religious moshav of Keshet, but the community -- named Ramataniya -- failed one year later. In 1887, the society purchased lands between the modern-day B'nei Yehuda and Kibbutz Ein Gev. This community survived until 1920, when two of its last members were murdered in the anti-Jewish riots which erupted in the spring of that year. In 1891, Baron Rothschild purchased approximately 18,000 acres of land about 15 km. east of Ramat Hamagshimim, in what is now Syria."
I think TSIHTF today.
