Egypt is about to declare war on israel
Holy crap! We're staring into the abyss - if Egypt declares war on israel - we can kiss the Middle East goodbye.
Egypt summoned Israel’s envoy to Cairo yesterday after Israeli media allegations that the Israeli Army may have killed 250 captured Egyptian soldiers at the end of the 1967 Middle East war.Two ruling party lawmakers demanded the ambassador’s expulsion. Another called for a special parliamentary session for a declaration of war on the Jewish state.
Egyptians were outraged by an Israeli documentary film which, according to media reports, alleged an army unit led by Benjamin Ben Eliezer, now Israel’s infrastructure minister, may have killed 250 prisoners of war in the Sinai Peninsula rather than transferring them to POW camps.
Egypt’s deputy foreign minister for legal affairs, Abdel Aziz Seif Al-Nasr, said Egypt had summoned Israeli ambassador Shalom Cohen to demand an explanation for the contents of the documentary, aired on Israel’s Channel One television last week. Egypt also asked its ambassador in Tel Aviv to obtain a copy of the film from the Israeli government, he said.
Israeli media quoted Ben-Eliezer as DENYING [as usual, that] Egyptian prisoners were executed. He said Palestinian gunmen were killed during the fighting, not Egyptian soldiers [as if that's any better].
“The Israeli ambassador must leave Egypt,” said Mahmoud Salim, a lawmaker from President Hosni Mubarak’s ruling National Democratic Party. Another ruling party lawmaker, Alaa Hassanein, said: “I demand the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador and the withdrawal of the Egyptian ambassador from Israel.”
A spokeswoman for Israel’s broadcasting authority had no immediate comment [boy, are they up sh*t's creek].
Salaam Al-Ruqi’i, an independent Egyptian lawmaker from the Sinai Peninsula, said: “The only way this can be eased is through a declaration of a state of war. We are still finding mass graves of Egyptian soldiers, and two months ago we extracted the remains of unarmed Egyptian soldiers and civilians from Sinai.”
This is the story of what happened that year as told by an officer from the USS Liberty . . .
The israelis had captured several hundred - perhaps as many as a thousand - Egyptian prisoners of war, who were being held near the town of Al Arish.
Now, we passed twelve miles off the coast of Al Arish - I think around ten o'clock that morning - and little did we know but it happens that they were lining up these prisoners, requiring them to dig their own graves in the desert sand and then they'd jump in and they'd - the israelis would machine gun them and then the next few prisoners would fill the hole in and dig their own.
It's funny that some of the israelis claim that that never happened. If it happened it would have been all over the newspapers.
Well, it was in all the newspapers, or at least it was in Time magazine and in US News and World Report and that story has been verified by a number of senior israeli military officers and reporters.
I didn't see the documentary that aired last week on israeli news. If someone runs into it - please, bring it to my attention.
But, even without it, it's obvious that israel has finally dug its own grave.
The only thing left for them to do is jump in.

they'd really want to start a war over something that happened in 1967. Nah. The emmisary recalls are all about declaring more of a cold war than a hot one.
Resentment against israel runs deep in Egypt.
Airing the video was simply the proverbial straw that may very well break the camel's back.
israel and, by extension, the US have some MAJOR backpeddling and kissing up to do if they hope to get over this one.
This was a COLOSSAL gaffe on israel's part - they really f*cked up this time.

"Money" has no value - people do.
The whole Egyptian - Israeli peace deal was due to the stratigic mistake that Egypt made when it constructed the Aswan Dam. As soon as Lake Nasser behind the Aswan high dam filled, Israel served Egypt notice that it could now easily take out the dam and drown 90% of the population of Egypt and maybe it was time for a peace agreement. Egypt knew (and knows) that it moved into check and mate. Don't hold your breath waiting for an Egyptian / Israeli war.
...Zionists carry out the massacres reminiscent of Nazi execution pits and Stalin-sanctioned Katyn massacre of Polish citizens and cover up the atrocities.
They may get away by manipulation of the controlled media and corrupt Washington body politic, but they will be exposed for the dirty deeds.
Zionists created the State of Israel on the basis of Jews' suffering at the hands of Nazism by bribing and pressuring the Gentiles, especially Harry Truman.
Maybe Zionists did indeed have the role in encouraging and sanctioning the subjugation of ordinary Jews to barbaric treatment by discrimination and genocide, because Theodore Herzl considered escalating the non-Zionist Jews' suffering as an effective propaganda campaign to create the modern-day Israel.
And while Washington politicians and pundits continue to defense Israel as the only "democracy" in the Middle East, Israel continue its campaign of apartheid unabated by bullying with violent force and economic sanctions (U.S. hypocritically preaches democracy yet condemn Palestinian people for electing Hamas to govern state affairs and impose sanctions designed to damage the morale and way of life courtesy of corrupting Zionist influence), theft and murder of the Palestinian and Lebanese people in the wars to assert their racial, geopolitical and ideological superiority.
The government of Egypt should remain restrained, at least until the Zionist-orchestrated war comes to Iran or Syria, then the game is on to prosecute the murderous Zionist faction with the declaration of war on Israel (after Israel refuse to apologize & compensate [no taxpayer-subsidized US dollar allowed)/etc after the facts are in on hard evidence] or other strategy).
Present-day State of Israel is an insane country. It may push the button of Samson Option, because Zionists are insidiously clever in doing evil and they are extremely selfish, vain, greedy and amoral in ogrish violence and terrorism to facilitate their depraved Talmud-inspired agenda, whatever it is.
This is why Zionist virus is a severe threat to civilized mankind, and it must be terminated to eliminate the threat besides the immoral military-industrial complex that love making wars for the love of profits and adventures in military warfare in practice with the latest weapon technology used on the soldiers and civilian population as hapless test subjects to be mangled and destroyed.

My blog Last Throes of US Empire
Would be just the first in a potential cascade of events that could quickly and easily spiral out of control.
I know that for some time know israel has been taking jabs at Egypt, complaining that it's rearming, etc., and putting it troops near the border.
I'm not sure whether israel released this film deliberately, knowing that it would open up a new fromt with Egypt.
But, if they did - it means that israel is going to take this low point in relations to actually START the war once Egypt cuts its diplomatic ties.
And yes I am aware that Egypt would be utterly destroyed by a war like this, but so necessarily will israel - mabye not instantly, but not long after.

From the Middle East Times:
That's putting it VERY mildly.
Egyptians hate israelis. I ought to know.

Q: Many thanks for the excellent film clip.
re, from above: "Well, it was in all the newspapers, or at least it was in Time magazine and in US News and World Report and that story has been verified by a number of senior israeli military officers and reporters."
I believe that is a direct quote from Lieutenant James Ennes, of U.S.S. Liberty, being interviewed by Daryl Smith. I would like to fill in a few blanks, if I may. Apparently, there were some very lucid accounts of this occurrence in the ISRAELI papers as well:
1,000+ Egyptian Military Officers Executed by Israeli Army in 1967

USS Liberty: Did Israel commit one war crime to hide another? By James M. Ennes, Jr.
Article Published on U.S.S. Liberty Memorial Pages, March 27, 1998
Washington Report readers know the story well. In 1967 on the fourth day of the Six Day War, the armed forces of Israel attacked the American intelligence ship USS Liberty for 90 minutes in international waters in broad daylight following several hours of close, low-level reconnaissance. Thirty-four men died, 171 were hurt, and the ship was so badly damaged that it had to be scrapped.
The government of Israel has lied about the circumstances ever since, telling a story markedly different from that told by American survivors. Congress has refused to question Israel's demonstrably false account, even though the State Department's own analysis finds the Israeli story to be untrue.
Yet the most pressing question remaining from that infamy is not whether the attack was deliberate. That was settled long ago for most reasonable people. THE QUESTION IS WHY Israel risked its cozy relationship with America by killing American seaman on the high seas.
Indeed, spokesmen for Israel use that question in Israel's defense. Why, they ask, would Israel risk alienating its American friends?
So why did Israel attack? Intelligence analysts and others have long supposed that Israel attacked to prevent the ship from reporting the impending invasion of the Golan Heights, then imminent despite cease fire pleas by the United States. Israel's defenders reject that explanation.
Recent reports in the Israeli and Egyptian press suggest another powerful possibility.
According to eyewitness accounts by Israeli officers and journalists, the Israeli Army - the army that claims to hold itself to a higher moral standard than other armies - executed as many as 1,000 Arab prisoners during the 1967 war.
Historian GABBY BRON [ quoted in film clip ] wrote in the YEDIOT AHRONOT in ISRAEL that he witnessed Israeli troops executing Egyptian prisoners on the morning of June 8, 1967, in the Sinai town of El Arish.
Bron reported that he saw about 150 Egyptian POWs being held at the El Arish airport where they were sitting on the ground, densely crowded together with their hands held on the back of their necks. Every few minutes, Bron writes, Israeli soldiers would escort an Egyptian POW from the group to a hearing conducted by two men in Israeli army uniforms. Then the man would be taken away, given a spade, and forced to dig his own grave.
"I watched as (one) man dug a hole for about 15 minutes," Bron wrote. "Afterwards, the (Israeli military) policeman told him to throw the shovel away, and then one of them leveled an Uzi at him and shot two short bursts, each of three or four bullets."
Bron says he witnessed about ten such executions, until the grave was filled. Then an Israeli Colonel threatened him with a revolver, forcing him to leave the area.
USS Liberty was nearby
As those executions were underway, America's most sophisticated intelligence platform, USS Liberty, was less than 13 miles from El Arish.
We were close enough to see the town mosque with the naked eye. With binoculars we could make out individual buildings and might have seen the executions if we had looked in the right place.
Could our operators have heard voice radio messages revealing these killings? Did senior Israeli officers sanction the murders, or did they learn of them? How would they have reacted to the knowledge that USS Liberty was nearby and might have heard incriminating radio traffic?
Would they have been desperate enough to attack an American ship? .....................................
What a 'cryptical' way that history has, of finally revealing itself ! Perhaps these new ISRAELI revelations, ( they do it every time ) will be the proverbial frosting on their cake, by finally and completely airing out the real U.S.S. LIBERTY MASSACRE, which ironically enough, just happened to occur SIMULTANEOUSLY with this EGYPTIAN MASSACRE, right within striking distance.
It should now be much better known how these pathological prevaricators simply love to crow about their murderous exploits. So maybe this time we should just take their own word for it, and let them "dig their OWN grave", so to speak.
Is it any coincidence that an ISRAELI filmmaker would release a DOCUMENTARY of these exploits, in the very week preceding Purim ? For what ? To "entertain" the troops, for the "festival" ? - ( with tales of heroic "massacres" ? )
...and just in case you might think I'm being 'biased' in my presentation, let's not forget to give the Zionist CAMERA some good "exposure" for quite promptly crawling all over this like flies on shitpaper:

CAMERA: False Israeli "Massacre" Story Resurrected -- by Israeli State Television
QRS:
If the Egyptians began a drawdown of Lake Nasser at the max rate that wouldn't flood the land before beginning hostilities, they could take the zionist hammer away in a year or so. No sense in destroying a dam unless it would flood the nile valley and the dam could be rebuilt rather reasonably if the water pressure had been released.
Hay Clay ! GREAT Idea ! Why not pass it on to Mubarak ?
Egypt Gov't Challenged over Israeli Action at Mosque
CAIRO, Mar 7 (IPS) - In a rare show of unity, parties from across the political spectrum have condemned reported Israeli violations against Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque. They have warned of "dire consequences" if the site -- the third holiest in Islam -- were to be damaged.
"Jihad [holy war] becomes incumbent on Muslims when violence is done against them or their holy places, dignity or possessions," Mohamed Tantawi, grand sheikh of Cairo's venerable al-Azhar University declared in a departure from his usually non-confrontational position....
