Where are all these 'EXPLOSIVES' coming from???
Two explosions have killed at least 90 Shia pilgrims and injured more than 160 others a day after nine US soldiers died in the deadliest day for Americans in Iraq in nearly a month.The Shia pilgrims came under attack on Tuesday as they streamed to a shrine in Karbala, where they would mark the end of a traditional 40-day mourning period.
The attack was in Hillah, where two suicide bombers blew themselves up with pilgrims massed around them, said Muthana Khalid, a police spokesperson.
How do they know the explosives weren't planted somewhere?
Armed men also launched attacks in and around Baghdad; a car bomb in the southern Baghdad district of Doura killed 12, police said.US officials announced earlier that nine American soldiers were killed and four wounded in two separate attacks in northern and north-eastern Iraq, the US military has said.
"Six Task Force Lightning soldiers were attacked while conducting combat operations in Salah ad Din province on March 5," a statement said on Tuesday.
"The soldiers died as a result of injuries sustained following an explosion near their vehicles."
In a second incident on the same day, three American soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb in Diyala, one other was wounded.
When I think of explosives, two groups of people come to mind: Cowards and Weapons Manufacturers.
On second thought, they're one and the same.
As long as our governments continue to allow corporations to PROFIT from the manufacture of weapons, WE will continue to die in their CONSUMPTION.
This is consumerism gone mad.
The explosives are coming from the West, the Mossad or whatever is placing them. Leftfield explained already. The tactics is to force both the Sunnis and Shi'ites to flee the country and leave the oil-rich southern provinces empty for the Israelis, or Kurds or Turkmen, to inhabit.
The same tactics was used in 1945 against the East Germans. There were continuous explosions, families and villages blown up, civilians brutally murdered and savagely mutilated, fleeing civilians on foot rolled under tanks, fleeing civilians in nazi ships sunk by soviet submarines etc. etc. All to induce the terrorised civilian german population to flee and take their lands: Silesia, Pomerania, East Prussia etc.
We saw the same tactics put in place in Palestine in the late 1940s (Deir Yassin etc.), read Michael Hoffman's "The Israeli Genocide of the Palestinians".
It's the same tactics we see today in Iraq.

I believe the correct title of Hoffman's book is "The Israeli HOLOCAUST Against the Palestinians ? Which is the more specific term, GENOCIDE, HOLOCAUST, or MASSACRE ? Take your pick. Here is a quick excerpt from the book:

Do you know such books as "A Terrible Revenge: The Ethnic Clensing of the East European Germans, 1944-1950" by Alfred-Maurice de Zayas; "Crimes and Mercies: The Fate of the German Civilians under Allied Occupation, 1944-1950" by James Baque; "An Eye for an Eye: The Story of Jews who sought Revenge for the Holocaust" by John Sack? 9 MDeaths of german civilians and POW nobody talks about, before and after WW2 ended!
Oh, and we should never forget how our Turanic 'Jews' dealt with their ancestral foes, the Ukrainians and the Cossacks - 7 MDeaths in Winter 1932-1933, another 8 MDeaths circa in the gulags of the 1920s and 1930s ...
History Worm, Thanks for those references, which I'm sure will be more than sufficient to correlate a historical precedent to Iraq. It is rather astounding, as you mention, how the immediate post-WW2 period could be such a blind spot. But our Zionist media have done their job rather exceedingly well over the interim, haven't they ?

Well Quasimodo, the true victors of WW2 were in fact the Khazars, so what to expect from them: academic freedom in reporting all of the atrocities committed? Of course not, THEY were to be the chief victims and this was on their agenda in order to gain New Khazaria (aka Israel) for themselves.
What I find very interesting, though, from a history-freak scientist's point of view, is how the WW2 bloodbath and Russian Holocaust (the greatest number of war casualties were in fact ethnic Russians who got used as cannonfodder for crushing the Germans), as well as the obsession with resurrecting Khazaria in Palestine, meant that the Khazars lost their grip on the Soviet Union. The post-WW2 USSR was no New Khazaria anymore, like it was just after 1917 and till ca. 1950. Precisely how that happened is still to be clarified, in my opinion, and Prof. Hobsbawm is certainly not going to expound on it for us ...
Regarding 'Other Losses", I know that book and storyline too, though I haven't read it. Reading "Crimes and Mercies" was a strong enough eyeopener, and especially "A Terrible Revenge" which I recommend to everyone interested in seeking to know what really happened in the aftermath of WW2 in Europe.
You will have noticed I don't go for Internet sources very much. They are ephimeral, uncontrolled and too little is known about their authors. I prefer books, printed reports in general, though the Internet is a very valuable research instrument and some books can be found there only now. Like 'Pasque di Sangue', like 'The Iron Courtain over America', by John Beaty, which I have luckily found second-hand, but exists also in a version on-line. The Beaty book is one of the most remarkable I have ever read, an incredible eye-opener in the line of Koestler's, but much more politically oriented, just as accurate in the history it reports and totally independent in terms of the conclusions it reaches.
Regarding Egypt and the 1967 war, this brings to mind a piece of complot-theory information which I want to share with you. Namely the allegation that in order to win that war so quickly and so efficiently the IL-US secret services cooperated and made use of LSD-gas to stun the Egyptian forces en masse. I can dig out and pass on this thread (which I have in printed form only) to you if you are interested.
