israelis in Jordan, Egypt warned of "Very High Concrete Threat"

israelis are up to no good . . .

The last time israelis warned their fellow countrymen to leave Egypt - specifically the Sinai - two dozen people were killed in a series of "explosions" - NONE of them israeli.

JERUSALEM March 7, 2007 (AFP) - Israel on Wednesday warned nationals who may be visiting regional allies Egypt and Jordan to leave immediately, citing a "very high concrete threat" to their safety.

* * *

Israelis were advised to avoid visiting [eight countries, including Egypt and Jordan] and leave immediately should they be there already, it announced in a statement.

The bureau said the threat level applied to Egypt as a whole but was "especially" prevalent for the Sinai, a beach paradise peninsula on the Red Sea popular with Israelis during holidays.

Aside from Egypt and Jordan, the six other countries were Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Israelis can theoretically only travel to such countries, with which Israel has no relations, if they have a foreign passport.

Tensions have soared recently in the often bumpy relations between Egypt and Israel over claims that Israeli soldiers killed Egyptian prisoners during the 1967 Middle East war.

Israel's anti-terrorism bureau issues frequent warnings against travel to Sinai, where tens of thousands of Israelis have travelled during holidays such as next month's eight-day festival of Passover.

More than 80 people have died over the past two years in attacks in the Sinai, which Israel says is now home to various extremist networks.

And of course, whatever israel says goes.

Keep your eyes peeled - israelis are up to no good.

I had forgotten when I decided not to dignify that illegitimate aggregation of criminals with a capital "I."

But, I found the post in which I announced my current practice.

I'm sure some people find it annoying or inconsequential (hopefully, israelis find it very annoying).

But, it's symbolic and in my opinion very significant.

Re: the Iranian official - that sucks. Their tentacles are everywhere.

i surely would have recalled the
"Israel will collapse and warned that its allies face the "boiling wrath" of the people if they continue to support the Jewish state." quote I would add "Beware of Palestine's brooms and dust bins you evil invaders"

No Prob ;)
(BTW are there posts that reveal the neat URL hidy trick i saw on one of my comments?)
