I have nothing against the NYC police, though.

They are not to blame. They were just doing their jobs as they were told to do.

That is not to say that you can always be excused for "just following orders."

However, in this instance, they were very polite and unimposing. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

I'm sure it must be part of their training, but I think they did a good job, under the circumstances.

Of course, I was outraged at the accusation, and my first reaction was indignation.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I get very upset when someone wrongly accuses me of something.

I've sued someone before for doing just that. I dropped it after receiving a written apology from them (I am not the litigious type - I operate based on principle).

So, anyway, I am not angry at the detectives. They were doing their job and they didn't know me.

It takes a lot for me to get angry with working men and women.

We are all in the same boat - us and the police officers alike.

We are forced to work just to survive.

The real culprits here are the lawmakers who allowed this fascist law on the books and the cowardly anonymous caller who maliciously targeted me and my family, knowing her accusations were false.

EVERYONE should be entitled to know exactly who his accuser is. It is our right as Americans under the Constitution.
