OPEN LETTER #33 ON 9/11 TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE USA MICHAEL B. MUKASEY
Dear Mr. Attorney General,
Let us please turn to the all-important seismic evidence of the events of 9/11. As previously stated, Richard A. Siegel's video and soundtrack record explosions seconds before and during the collapse of each of the Twin Towers (See http://www.911raw.com). Siegel's soundtrack can be calibrated to the 10 AM top-of-the-hour tone broadcast by 1010 WINS radio station playing in the background, and correlates perfectly with off-the-chart spikes on Columbia University's Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory seismograph in the Palisades of New Jersey. Siegel's film and the seismic record together constitute best evidence of controlled demolitions of the Twin Towers.
So why is Siegel's film not a factor in analysis of the seismic record? Why has this best evidence been excluded from the discovery process in law enforcement and judicial proceedings? And why does the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) ignore such dispositive evidence? Even the 9/11 truth movement steers around Siegel's film and its implications, which is quite an interesting phenomenon in and of itself. (Use of aluminum powder incendiaries to take down the Twin Towers has been proven quite conclusively by Steven Jones, a leading 9/11 truth figure, but such explosives do not result in off-the-chart spikes on the seismic record. Thermate and Thermite were used in conjunction with much more powerful explosives set within the central core columns and at the base of each tower. These high powered explosions give us a much narrower range of specialized suspects compared with practitioners of aluminum powder incendiaries.)
As demonstrated in my "Shlock & Awe on top of Shock & Awe" article, NIST leaves out of its report two blast events, each 0.6 on the Richter Scale, occuring 8 seconds apart precisely when WTC 7 was demolished (See http://www.show-the-house.com/id65.html). NIST's shocking omission came even though such evidence of WTC 7 blast events is included elsewhere in NIST's literature on 9/11.
NIST and the seismologists simply do not consider copious eyewitness, audio and video evidence of explosions at WTC 1, 2 and 7, and make the superficially plausible inference that the building collapses caused the spikes on the seismic record. Likewise do they blindly infer that the two jet impacts registered on the seismograph; Craig Furlong and Gordon Ross of Scholars for 9/11 Truth argue quite persuasively that explosions were synchronized with the jet impacts, but the evildoers were off on their timing by a few seconds. Hence the many reports, albeit suppressed by the media, of two loud bangs at WTC 1 in the opening round of our unjustified invasions and occupations in the Middle East. Once the evidence is admitted and not excluded, and the truth sets us free, we are ready to ask, how could Osama Bin Laden get his men inside Lucky Larry Silverstein's well guarded properties to plant the explosives? Could 9/11 have happened another way? Have you considered mobbed up unions?
But seismic data published by NIST presents even more problems insofar that the period from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM is simply omitted in the graphic presentations of the 9/11 seismograph. During this 90 minute interval the impacts of the two aerial vehicles and the collapse of WTC 2 occurred. NIST's graphs inexplicably show seismic evidence only from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
So what is NIST hiding? We see in its graphs the collapse of WTC 1 and WTC 7 and a few quarry blasts in between during the 7 ½ hour interval commencing 10 AM EDT. WTC 7 looks like two quarry blasts 8 seconds apart. (Did WTC 7 bounce and fall again?) And strangely coincidentally, the WTC 1 collapse is lined up with an earthquake in Indonesia at 6.5 on the Richter Scale. (The seismograph traces 30 minute intervals, so the WTC 1 collapse at 10:28:34 is right on top of the Indonesian earthquake at 10:56:51.) You'd think at a glance that the 6.5 quake, by jutting off the chart into the other parallel 30 minute trace intervals above and below, simply occults the beginning of the WTC 1 collapse. But wait! On the Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) seismograph there is another off-the-chart spike just like the 6.5 Indonesian quake, but it's at the very beginning of the WTC 2 collapse at 9:59, which is not shown on the NIST graph, where it would line up with both the WTC 1 collapse and Indonesian quake.
LDEO (http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/LCSN/Eq/20010911_wtc.html) shows a different pattern of 30 minute trace intervals, from 10 minutes to 40 minutes after each hour, which enables the reader to see clearly that the two off-the-chart spikes coincide with the collapses of WTC 1 and WTC 2. The Indonesian quake is a joker nearly perfectly timed to overlay the Twin Tower explosions on seismographs with 30 minute traces starting each hour and half hour.
And if you compare the Indonesian quake with one at Fox Islands (17:10:55) at 5.1 on the Richter Scale, you will begin to fathom the dimensions of our problem. The Fox Islands quake doesn't show any spike at all! And we know from sources as diverse as the late Internet investigative journalist Joe Vialls (http://www.vialls.com) and former Senator and US Secretary of Defense William Cohen that the USA can cook up an earthquake almost as easily as it can start an invasion!
