My Hollywood Sh*t List - star of Titanic ‘storms’ israel
Now, we know that the boyish smile and heroic heart on display in the movie Titanic is just that - an Act.
Some of you think that I'm over reacting, but boycotting their stupid movies is the least I can do to register my disgust with their indifference to the horror israelis unleash on their neighbors.
Leonardo DiCaprio arrived in Israel with supermodel Bar Refaeli this weekend, creating a paparazzi storm that by Monday led to a scuffle outside the Western Wall. The 32-year-old Oscar nominee and Refaeli, 21, have been romantically linked for about a year, and the Israeli papers regularly run breathless updates on their relationship, tinged with pride that a local girl snagged an A-list Hollywood heartthrob.
The two apparently hoped to slip into the country unnoticed on a night flight from Frankfurt, Germany. [oh, well] But the plane was also carrying a group of Israeli entertainment reporters on their way back from a press junket in Ireland.
By the time the two headed for Refaeli's family's home in an upscale Tel Aviv suburb, it was besieged by dozens of photographers desperate for a glimpse of the two. Popular TV host Guy Pines even rented a helicopter to survey the scene from the air, a first for Israeli media coverage, he said.
On Monday, the pair eluded their pursuers and traveled to Jerusalem, eventually visiting the Western Wall and its subterranean tunnels in the Old City, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.
I see they skipped the guided tour of the apartheid West Bank ghetto.
But the visit turned violent upon their exit, when the couple's bodyguards scuffled with photographers waiting outside. A number of journalists said they were punched and their equipment damage.
At least DiCaprio had a chance to see someone get the Palestinian treatment.
DiCaprio has received Oscar nominations for his roles in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "The Aviator" and "Blood Diamond." Refaeli is featured in Sports Illustrated magazine's recent swimsuit issue.
But more than anything, Pines said, Israelis are happy for a diversion.
The constant lying, stealing, and killing can wear you down.
"The fact that most of the headlines here recently haven't been pleasant turns the interest in this beautiful fairy tale couple into something the media can revel in," Pines said.
israelis constantly live in a fantasy, all their own.
It's high time the world woke them up.

Can you imagine? Can anyone imagine if just a small percentage of the the USA's population would stop going to the movies?
The zionist movie powers are always crying about their profits.
We really do need to stop going to the movies. We need to stop buying movie videos, books, magazines, and newspapers. I have already cut down on my spending of entertainment by 80%.
We really don't need their garbage anyway.
And besides, if you got a TV, VCR, DVD, then all you have to do is TAPE OFF the TV.
Or just watch TV. We certainly don't need to spend anymore than this.
DiCaprio doesn't need our hard earned dollars pampering his doughy ass, his israeli girlie's included.
Now if we could just figure a way to encourage more people not to throw their precious dollars at the movie industry - and that goes for the music industry, as well.
Their percentage profits would plummet and they would suffer greatly.
Then maybe the celebrities would wake up and understand the reasons why.
Nothing hurts more than hitting someone's pocketbook.
