What can we do?
I just started college and am now on my second semester. After realizing that everything that i ever believed about god, and this country has been totally false and the opposite of what i was taught i'm at a point in my life where i'm really frustrated.
I've come to the realization that we are all slaves to this american government with a curtain of all the entertainment in the world to cover our eyes from the truth.
What do we do?
where do we start?
how do we return this country to the people?

These are the very same questions I've been asking for nearly a year. Waking up average citizens to the "truth" is the only way we might have a fighting chance to take back our country. But I find that extremely difficult since most people believe that everything is okay. They're still wrapped up in their dream worlds of religion and entertainment. We are in a modern version of Rome's "bread and circuses."
I find that people are only willing to listen once they've experienced an awakening or an epiphany. They realize that something isn't right about America and the world, so they begin asking questions. I can deal with those people. The folks with staunchly engrained beliefs on religion and politics are hopeless when it comes to the truth. It's like hitting a brick wall at 100 mph.
Most Americans remain secure in their beliefs in God and country for the time being. As a nation, we haven't suffered sufficiently for any monumental changes to occur, although, one would think that 9/11 should have been a drastic wake-up call. When the economy collapses hurling a good majority into a financial meltdown, then the people will have no choice but to wake-up. It seems that when a person's a pocketbook is utterly picked, you gain their attention. Until then, we'll just have to wait.
Thanks for the reply. I'm 100 percent with you on what you said. It's just I feel so powerless and alone. No jobs for me here I am a free man not a slave, but nobody around me is free. it's like no matter what you tell people if it's not on mtv or the corrupt news channels they don't wan't to hear it. How can you change something if everyone is so happy were they are at? a false happyness but non the less they think they are happy. Slaves is what they are. I want my life to have meaning, to have a purpose, a purpose beyond working from 8-5 for 60 years of my life. no matter the job. Than my teachers tell me about evolution. Granted I dont believe in the gods people throughout history have made up to control people and to take their money. But at the same time I dont believe I share the same fate as a child molester or a murder or our government as evolution would say.? I don't know very frustrated at the young age of 20 looking down all these roads and have no idea which one to take. If anyone has some insight for me it would be much appreciated. Thanks
"Granted I don't believe in the gods people throughout history have made up to control people and to take their money"
These people you mention remind me of a Quranic verse I read before: "Those who purchase a small gain at the cost of God's covenant and their oaths, they have no portion in the Hereafter. God will neither speak to them nor look upon them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He make them grow. Theirs will be a painful doom."
So according to that, rest assured that these people who exploit religion for their own benefits are not getting away with it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that you were searching for a faith that you as an individual can proudly and freely adhere to, in order to have a purpose in life, and a fundament to maintain your balance upon. A faith that is devoted to worship a higher being and not a human.
If that's what you're looking for, then look around and search for the faith that appeals to you most, and pursue it freely, far away from any tyrants and hypocrites. Many people tend to think of religion as oppression. Consider it a personal choice that you can be very proud of.
Maybe I'm completely wrong in my assumption though, regarding what you're looking for. Forgive me if I am.
Yeah for the most part you are right. I want to believe that there is a purpose far beyond the direction we took. far beyond the relegions HUMANS CREATED. I think we missed something or lost something along the way. I look around and see how everything is set up.our goverment, capitalism,
religion, it's all set up for control, power, and wealth. Profit at all costs. I'm not just singling out our goverment its everywhere. I don't know what though thats the thing.
Young chap, it's good to have people like you asking yourself such dary questions.
Some deep thinkers amongst the truth-seekers in recent times have written about 'what we can do' to get our beloved country back. You can start by reading their work and then on from it. It takes a huge collective concerted effort to set ourselves free again.
I suggest you get hold of a book now out of print, written in 1951 by a remarkable scholar and military intelligence man, John Beaty's 'The Iron Courtain over America'. This book is anathema to our enslavers but could be obtained second-hand from Internet dealers or even printed at home from an on-line version. Do search for and read it, all of us truth-seekers and conspirators for freedom should read it. Beaty was asking exactly the same questions as yourself back in the 1950s, when America's enslavers were denoted (improperly) 'communists'. Tribal bonds are what matter, never mind about ideologies, and Beaty sort of realised this. Beaty was a convinced, good Christian man and his motivations were noble (not so the use Sen. McCarthy made of his work, without even doing the job properly).
Another remarkable author who has written on the 'what can we do?' big question is Internet cybercolumnist John Kaminski, who on his site www.johnkaminski.com has posted many very interesting essays, including some on the big big question of 'what can we do?'. Curiously for an Ashkenazi Jew, he curses all Jews and Judaism for the ills of the modern world, seemingly not aware of the Khazar issue and that 90% of the Jews, and 99,9% of their bad apples, are judaised Khazars and not Semites, thus hijackers of that faith.
First, welcome! I'm delighted to see a young new member of our growing community ask important questions.
BTW, thanks to all who have worked so diligently this past week to keep us informed and thinking.
I have been a bit predisposed.
On to your question.
Slavery - at least the kind Americans suffer from - is a mental disease, for which the road to recovery begins with the Truth.
You may not see things clearly now, but little by little the truth will illuminate your path.
The best way to go about discovering the truth, or distinguishing truth from lies is to be very critical when examining any words you read for BIAS.
Cui Bono? is what you must ask before accepting any logical conclusion suggested by a report, essay, or advocacy piece.
Remember that words are simply an imperfect instrument by which humans attempt to convey messages.
Either these messages honestly reflect objective reality, or they are distorted to benefit special interests.
Always keep in mind that while not everyone in the world is 'out to get you' - most definitely, there are people who ARE.
You must always be on the look out for them.
They are not too hard to find as they tend to gravitate towards positions of power, the natural conclusion for people bent on lording it over others.
Hence, the dangerous fallacy 'power corrupts.'
Power does not corrupt, corrupt people gravitate towards power.
And there is no greater power than power over the mind.
Hence, they are over-represented in the field of communications and law - as that is the key to tricking people into serving their interests.
Anyway, getting back to your question.
Because lies are what enslave us, only truth can set us free.
Nevermind the details.
Just stick to the principle:
Knowledge is power and communication is key.
That's our job as human beings who care about each other - diligently work to learn the truth, then impart it to as many others as you can.
Student, then teacher - because we're all born without knowledge.
Therefore, someone must convey it, otherwise humanity falls prey to those who know the truth but will not share it, in order to enslave the ignorant.

"Money" has no value - people do.
ForF, make sure you take a look at The Money Masters for a quick seminar in US history vs. the Banksters. Turns out Lincoln, Jefferson, and other presidents were BIG TIME "conspiracy theorists".
There used to be online viewing, but maybe removed. It's well worth purchasing. This link has info and several interesting clips:

Make sure to watch Jewish researcher David Cole's documentary on Auschwitz. It's a real eye-opener. Google has it.
Another one is the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. Go to www.iamthewitness.com/videos.html
Enjoy!
I think the project of reforming this country, to make it something that works in our interest, is part of a larger project. The larger project has to do with more general questions we could ask about the means and ends of life. So, if we decide the ends and means of life involve words and the efficacy of argumentation, instead of just one's personal survival and avoidance of suffering, we would start ourselves on a "road" that would challenge and reform the situation as we have it today.
I put it this way, salvation is a project of philosophy. That means, it involves coming to a view that would bring us to a world where conflicts could be resolved by argument, instead of by force.
Furthermore, I don't think "false or corrupt stories" that you've been told about God and religious notions like salvation should make you shy away from what I think is still true. That is, yes there are stories that make God out to be a grumpy invisible "landlord." I think they have just promoted a false understanding of God. There is a better and true story that does not suffer from the corruption of what we are told at the moment.
As all the evils of the Iraq war begin with the initial act of invading an innocent country, so all the evils of our most notorious religions begin with our accepting a false understanding of what we're supposed to be doing here.
