Judge Napolitano Channels Father Coughlin and Gets Canned

Excellent idea to juxtapose these two videos, Fester.

There are indeed parallels between Roosevelt and Obama. Both followed very unpopular presidents. Both promised “hope and change,” but turned out to be much worse than their predecessors in terms of warmongering, in crushing liberty, and serving the rich and the bankers.

Both Coughlin and Napolitano were eventually silenced.

Coughlin refers to the “sham battle of politicians.” Yes. Even in ancient Rome the “leftists” and “rightists” (or populists and elitists) were only concerned with increasing their own power by serving the rich at the expense of the masses. Likewise, most governments throughout history (not all) have consisted of a ruling party or coalition, plus a sham “opposition.” If anyone challenges this pattern (e.g. Hitler), then the entire world gangs up against him. Communists and capitalists team up against him, and vilify him for all eternity. And the masses believe the lies.

As for Fox’s termination of Napolitano’s show, this will hurt Fox profits, but only temporarily. People watch Fox in order to shut down their brains so they can avoid facing their own personal problems. With Fox they enter a twilight zone that includes both flaming genocide and the Andy Griffith show. (Same with the Reagan cult.) Napolitano threatened the Fox narcotic, so he had to go, despite his popularity.

Let me go off on a tangent regarding mass stupidity. It’s so common that I suspect it is an adaptive trait, i.e. inherited. In order for a species to survive, most of its members must be adapted to their environment. They cannot leave offspring unless they can find food and mates, while avoiding predators. We call this “natural selection.”

Humans require an extra trait to survive, which is denial. If humans truly faced reality, then many would commit suicide, and many more would not have children. This would threaten the species with extinction. Therefore most humans live in apathy, denial, and in dream worlds (e.g. religion). This causes them to slaughter each other (war) -- yet enough humans survive for the species to continue.

Thus, denial, stupidity, and fantasy have helped to perpetuate the species so far – but now these traits have become maladaptive. The strengths that get you to the top of the pyramid are what cause you to fall. The traits that caused the dinosaurs to rule the earth were the traits that caused the dinosaurs to go extinct. In man’s case, the denial, stupidity, and fantasy that got us to the top are now pushing us toward extinction. We deny global pollution. We deny that fossils fuels are finite. We continue to use nuclear power. We cling to religions (e.g. the holo-hoax). We have nuclear weapons. We support imperialist wars. We believe media lies. And so on.

If man is to survive, then man must change, i.e. adapt to the new environment of limited resources and limited places to dump toxic waste. Can man do this? Yes and no. Some of the dinosaurs became birds. Others became primitive mammals. Thus, dinosaurs are extinct, but much of their genome lives on. Man will also become extinct, but much of our genome will live on, in whatever takes our place.

Most people are fucking idiots, regardless of their wealth or social status. Some people are intelligent, but not enough to make a difference. There were 82 million people in Nazi Germany, but they faced billions in the communist and capitalist worlds.

It has always been this way, and perhaps always will be.
