Gandhi On Jews And Hitler

That video is a lame Jewish attempt to vilify Gandhi.

Gandhi wrote two letters to Hitler, neither of which made any mention of Jews. Both letters show that Gandhi agreed with British propaganda against Germany.

The first letter (23 July 39) consisted of only 134 words. It blames Hitler alone for the coming world war being orchestrated by the Allies. “You are today the one person in the world who can prevent a war that may reduce humanity to the savage state.”

The second letter (24 Dec 1940) is longer (1,031 words) and includes sentences like, “Your own writings and pronouncements and those of your friends and admirers leave no room for doubt that many of your acts are monstrous and unbecoming of human dignity, especially in the estimation of men like me who believe in universal friendliness…Hence we cannot possibly wish success to your aims.”

By this time (Dec 1940) the Allies had their war against Germany. Gandhi aided the British war effort by suspending all talk of independence for India. In his second letter, Gandhi writes, “We would never wish to end the British rule with German aid… I appeal to you in the name of humanity to stop the war… During this season when the hearts of the peoples of Europe yearn for peace, we have suspended even our own peaceful struggle. Is it too much to ask you to make an effort for peace…?”

Thus, Gandhi once again blames Hitler alone for WW II. Gandhi wrote no such letter to Stalin or Roosevelt.

Gandhi totally opposed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who genuinely wanted Indian independence, and worked with the Germans and Japanese against the British occupiers.

The end of the video shows a swastika; a symbol that appears in numerous cultures all over the world throughout history. Swastikas were very popular in the USA before WW II. The video’s intention is to make India look like a nation of Nazis.

Incidentally, Gilad Atzmon proudly included this video in his blog, thereby suggesting that he is as much a Zio-Supremacist as are Uri Avnury, Noam Chomsky, and the rest.

The video claims that Gandhi made derogatory remarks about Jews to writer George Orwell. Again this is a fabrication. Orwell wrote a short essay (“Reflections on Gandhi”) which was published in the Partisan Review in Jan 1949.

In it, Orwell refers to the book “Gandhi and Stalin” (1947) by Jewish author Louis Fischer (1947).

Orwell writes...

“According to Mr. Fischer, Gandhi's view was that the German Jews ought to commit collective suicide, which ‘would have aroused the world and the people of Germany to Hitler's violence.’ After the war he justified himself: the Jews had been killed anyway, and might as well have died significantly…Gandhi was merely being honest. If you are not prepared to take life, then you must often be prepared for lives to be lost in some other way. When, in 1942, he urged non-violent resistance against a Japanese invasion, he was ready to admit that it might cost several million deaths.”
