Re: Brave Israeli Navy Chases Fishing Boats, Tries To Sink Them
(1) Anyone who has ever been boating knows that it is easy for a large boat to intentionally swamp and even capsize a smaller boat, just by using its wake.
(2) Since one side of the Gaza Death Camp is an ocean, the Jews patrol it to keep their victims in the trap. Sometimes the Jews fire into the death camp from their boats, just for fun. On 9 June 2006, Jewish boats fired artillery shells at Palestinians who were sitting on a beach near the municipality of Beit Lahia in the Gaza Strip. The Jews murdered eight Palestinians, and wounded at least thirty others.
(3) I wonder if the Jews would ever try this with a US Navy ship.
Wait – they did with the USS Liberty, murdering 34 US crewmen and wounding 170 more.
Silly me.
Re: Brave Israeli Navy Chases Fishing Boats, Tries To Sink Them
It is too easy to do so unintentionally too, although that is clearly not the case here. It is a generally accepted maritime principle that "you are responsible for your own wake", with the proviso that the operator of the smaller vessel takes steps to avoid wake damage. However, operators of vessels that create large wakes are required respect the rights and safety of other vessels in their vicinity.
Regarding this video, I have observed at least two infractions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea on the part of the Israelis (Rule 6 and Rule 18 for certain and possibly Rules 13 and 15 too). Then again, it wouldn't be the first time the Israelis displayed contempt for international law.
