Texas schools punish students who refuse to be tracked with microchips

In Texas Radio Frequency Identification chips are being implemented into San Antonio area schools IDs. The reason for the RFID chipped IDs is to curb the truancy problem in the Northside ISD. School officials claim knowing where every student is at all times will significantly reduced the number of truancy cases, but one student refused to participate and said the mandatory program was against her religion and claimed the RFID chip was the "mark of the beast." RT's web producer Andrew Blake gives us more on the controversial program and what it means for students.

Interesting, Sullivan. Many of us assumed that the government would require that every man, woman, and child be biologically implanted with an RFID chip. The Texas experiment shows that there is an easier way. Just require everyone to carry a special ID card with a chip. That way the police can stop you at random, and demand to see your card. If you do not have your card, or if there is a malfunction in your card, then the police take you straight to prison. Special electronic monitors throughout the nation will alert the police any time someone passes by who does not give off a signal from his card. The police can then descend on that person and ask to see his card. The possibilities are endless. Anyone who moves near a secure perimeter will set off silent alarms. Police or security guards will see who the person is, because of his card. If the subject does not give off any signal from a card, the police instantly tackle and arrest him, regardless of his innocence. Yes, the possibilities are endless.
